Elaine...I have this thing with dolls and stuffed animals. As a child I always felt quilty about having so many, couldn't play with them all. I would rotate them along my bedroom wall so that each one got played with evenly. It bothers me that these toys sit in my daughters rooms and no one is playing with them. Might as well go to children who don't have any.

RM....stay away from the malted milk eggs!!!!!! I haven't touch one piece of chocolate from my basket, but I will say the Dove truffles are very tempting. I can just see the pounds going back on. If I wasn't being good all chocolate would have been gone on day 1.

Amanda, that totally makes sense about the animals. I admit, I never really played with mine... they were more of a collection from day one with me. And to top it off, I still get one or two bears a year. Some collect little things and I collect stuffed animals If I had ever played with them, I would have probably given most of them away by now as well. I admit though, there are many other areas in my life that I save things that I shouldn't... so you can come in and throw that stuff out

Sherry, sorry you have a headache! I hope the boys behave for you today so you can rest I can't wait for the warmer weather as well!!! I hope that means spring is here!

They are driving me . They have cabin fever, but it isn't warm enough to throw them outside. I will need a vacation after dealing with them.

Ok, I must vent! I know there was a thread somewhere about pet peeves but, I have no time to look for it. I can't stand when someone sends me one of those emails that says pass this on to 10 people and you will get this and if you don't you will have a million zillion years of bad luck! OK, vent over.

Amanda-Where in the world do you get all this will power? If there is chocolate around me I just can't resist.

Shep-Ya better find a new hiding place for your stuff, LOL.

Sherry-Hope your headache goes away and the boys are little today! Tell them I said to give mom a break .
Or how bout we trade one for one? You have a 12 yr old we will trade for a day then send them back home.

RM...one thing I got from my Dad was willpower. Once I set my mind to something it is very easy for me to accomplish it. My Dad quick smoking cold turkey, the same with drinking. My Mom even smoked and drank around him and he didn't.

Elaine...Todd usually doesn't even notice when something is missing or is afraid to say so. When we moved into our house his dresser was stuffed with T-shirts, some that I strongly disapproved of...needless to say there is more room now. He truly likes it when I do a good cleaning and there is more space tu junk up.

I never pass the e:mails on unless I delete the pass this on part. Sometimes the stories are nice to send along.

DD is a stuffed animal collector too. Doesn't play with them But sleeps with one or two. She has over 300 and they all have names! She knows when one goes missing.
She is my packrat (paternal inheritence ).
DS likes things less cluttered.

Hi my name is Deena and Im a packrat I recently came across a party inivitation from when I was in high school--May 1982!! lol Of course it has sentimental value to me but then again it seems like everything does. I still have my prom dresses from my Jr and my senior prom--of course I cant get into them and I have no daughters--guess I'll have to dress up one of the boys boy wont they be
I have a cousin who is 6 years younger than me, when we were kids I used to dress him up in dress. He is now an atty and he and his wife are expecting their first. Wonder if I should let her in on the little secret, lol.

boo hiss grrr....today sucks!!

Just got back from the dr appt for the blood sugar and after one hour they said I definately have gestational diabetes!! grrr...I'm more mad than upset, not the docs fault (no one's fault) but still irritating so now I'm in a pissy mood and of course all I want to do is it eat the sweet high carb stuff! ugh!

But on the bright side I'm going to aaa to book my trip, so that should lighten the day up!
