DD is back at "home" safe and off to work.
Movie was good.
Lunch was good....ate way to much!

Yep...need April 16 to hurry up and get here and get this over with. But....I will be going to Chicago!

I'm doing major retail therapy with my best friend tomorrow!! Can't wait. There are Yankee candles calling to me.....and Lily needs that new outfit.

I'm back from richmond and I'm exhuasted!!

Our usual hotel was almost $30 more this weekend than the past 2 so I found a cheaper place and boy was it cheaper!!! I got a room at the Suburban Lodge extended stay. it was $20 less than the other place, so a little more than I wanted to pay but I figured it was the best i was gonna do this weekend. Well, they put me in a smoking room and I had to change that!! I couldn't breathe for the stale smoke. The second room didn't have a wash cloth for the shower!! grr and Of course I didn't realize that until this morning. Then because it is an extended stay lots of workers getting up at 5 in the morning. I swear that if the person over my head made one more trip across teh floor in those combat boots i was gonna have to shoot someone!! My only day to sleep in this month and these people kept me awake! The bed felt like it was made of cement! I ordered take out taxi, which of course was way too overpriced and the food i got was OK but not outstanding. Then they forgot to bring my soda so I had to call them back and tell them to bring my $2 soda!! So overall last night sucked big time. Then I watched crossing jordan and I have to agree with nancy it was "interesting" I almost turned it off several times because I wasn't sure what was going on. I was beginning to think I was on drugs! hehehe

Anyway, oh....I failed my first test in forever....my glucose test that I took on Friday. It was too high so I have to eat a high carbohydrate diet sunday and monday and then go back on Tuesday for the 3 hour test!! Joy! another day of missed work...but then I can go to AAA and book my trip. She said it was probably because I had juice for breakfast! we'll see.

Gonna go check out the angels and see what's shaken over there!

Hi all! Thanks for all the support. DH came home late, I made some flatbread pizza and he sat for just a bit after we ate then off to beddie for him.
I've washed clothes, did my tread mill and played on DIS some.

So I'm ready for the brownies--Ann pass them this way please. Not much into wine tonight. Heineken for me. I've brouht some along.

Evening! Had a nice corned beef dinner tonight. In honor of it being braised in Newcastle Ale, Ed decided to have one before dinner on an empty stomach....then he helped me with the wine with dinner, and finished the bottle. I have been quite entertained the rest of the evening, he's a very funny drunk. Gosh, haven't seen this in years!

He decided he wanted something sweet, so he decided to make brownies. Mind you, he only bakes Key Lime pies once in a blue moon and leaves the baking to me. It was rather humorous to hear his commentary while in the kitchen. The inspiration struck and he put Nutella in the brownie batter. YUMMY!!

Work was much better today...and they had to deal with me drinking a mocha when I wasn't tired....I'm usually hyper, and today I was REALLY HYPER!!!

So, some yayas have received really nice baskets...coolness.

Looks like I can have a turn with the hot tub!

TL, sorry you had the day all by yourself. Bet he enjoyed the time you had during dinner!

Kristy, hope to be in FL by the 26th of June...any earlier?

Tara, sorry that you didn't get your rest. I had the same thing happen, failed the 1, but passed the three with no trouble. I gained 55 pounds that pregnancy! How much longer will you be taking the classes?

Nancy, enjoy that retail therapy. Ed came in here and saw your siggie pic and commented on Nancy/Meriweather...his sister is Nancy and she has to use Merywther! I collect whatever Meriweather stuff I find and save it for her...got three pins in trades when I was at WDW last month!

Tara...I flunked test 1 also....with DD (hmmm...wonder if that's why she is a sugar fiend ).

Count me as another Law and Order fan. Love them!! I watch all 3 programs and am buying the DVD sets.....that will break me. Luckily they don't come out very often.

Suzanne.....wellllll....you could start buying 2 of all things Merryweather I actually have about all that I've been able to find that I can afford. I don't have the large figurines that are in the 100 dollar range.

Thanks for all the well wishes on the next test. I'm not too worried about it. With Jarrod I had just the one test and it was perfect so who knows! But taking a whole day off sounds good to me!

I think we are going to the marine science museum today. Do something since it is raining and yucky!

Oh Kristy....the day that I can go to BG is all dependent on Ethan. Probaby July will depend on when Ethan is born. I don't want to upset anyone on a dismeet and not show up , so if you all plan it I will do my best to be there but can't promise anything until Ethan decides to appear!! hehehe

Eating and shopping......what a wonderful way to fill the weekend. That wasn't my weekend though. Mine has been filled with kids. 16 youth to be exact. Watching them enjoy themselves at the game center was fun and well worth my time.

Shep mailed my basket exchange yesterday....should be there early this week.

Gonna go watch some basketball with shep...if I don't fall asleep.

Well, DS and I finally made it out to the zoo today. It was a beautiful day for it. I can not believe how far our zoo has
come.

Elaine-Sorry you are still feeling yucky! Here's some maybe that will make you feel better. If not, why don't you mosey on down to the spa and get yourself pampered.

Actually, I have never been pampered. Well, like not at a spa or anything. Never had a massage, never even had my nails done.
Hmmmm, I think it's time for a change.
