DW still isn't home. I sorta figured she wouldn't be. I hated to tell her on the phone that her 30 min estimate was very generous. I expect her in about 30-40 min, then she'll be off to bed probably. On the plus side, she'll most likey get to sleep in tomorrow. I bet they close her office.

AHEM!!!! Truthfully I will stay anywhere that I need to stay in order to go. I am looking at hotel blvd as well and might book a room there for the time being. I stay at Courtyards a lot in Chicago and I might do that here for Florida. Truth be told, I would love it if all of you could come. Of course imagine four of us sharing a room together... any four of us... that would be funny (I think). So don't you try to get me in trouble. I really did bring both you and Bonnie up because I knew you both had made some sort of mention somewhere about going during that time.

Now if Karen wants to get me the Florida rates, she can stay with me too

Seriously, if I go alone, I will probably stay at CS. I think though that if three of us wanted to share a room we could do it as long as we either have a cot or queen sized beds. I can share a queen size with anyone.

Oh and Bonnie, I found good times for a trip for $201.50... prices recently went up so I am watching them closely!!!

Hi again. DW got home about 10 min ago. LOL...she couldn't drive into the garage b/c the driveway was so icy. The rest of the drive was fine, just slllooowwww. So we spent a few minutes getting the car in the garage. It's been sleeting heavily for over an hour now, so that means Dallas/Ft Worth and surrounding cities will be shut down tomorrow.

WHOA BABY! IT'S A RED LETTER DAY IN NW OHIO!!!!

I mentioned the possibility of a December trip with Elaine, and I didn't get one of these: I asked him why, and his reply was "Well, you're just thinking about it right now, so if you decide you're serious about it, we'll talk about it then". Keeping in mind that this is the same DH who says "if you really want to do it, you're going to do it anyway, so why argue?", this translated means if I really want to, he's probably okay with it. It may cost me a solo fishing trip, but it would be worth it!

Hmmmm....If Betty were to go too, we could all fly out of Cincy together or Columbus together. The rate I found was on Northwest.

Oh boy! This is actually sounding like a possibility!

(Jodie, Elaine just loves all us elder yayas for the teacher/nurse rate at the Swan. You know how those baby yayas are.... )
