ANOTHER snow day for the kids today...that make NINE!!! OMG! The make up days are gonna be killers!

Feelin better I think....no fever this morning and I slept well once I finally got there. We will see what the day brings.

I would give anything just to crawl back in bed and go back to sleep but I cant. I feel so rotten today. We are being observed today to see if we are complying with the new HIPPA rules OH JOY( insert sarcastic tone) Just what I want. Im sick as a little doggie and I want to have everything I do watched today. NOT!

Jodie glad to hear youre feeling a little better. Hopefully by tomorrow this will break up for me too.

Sherry sorry to hear you are feeling so crummy. Pixie dust that you feel better very soon.

This new lifestyle is getting to me also. Im being SO good and exercising and IM GAINING!!! I gained 1.5 pounds!!! Im not giving up. Maybe its water weight or muscle gain. I cant possibly cut things anymore without it becoming very unhealthy for me. I havent cheated not one little bit even with three Kit Kat bars in the house.

Karen, don't worry about the weight gain. It could very well be muscle you are gaining. I know that happens to me which is why I refuse to weigh myself daily now (actually I don't do it much at all) I also hope you are feeling better soon.

Hope everyone has a great day, mine is shaping up to be crummy. Seems that the UNIX system that controls all of our systems at work crashed and crashed HARD last night. One of our network engineers has been in all night, and is just now getting the system back up. The cleanup is going to be heinous.

Debbie...yep, another snow day! For somebody who still struggles to "cut and paste" , your job sounds incredably daunting!!! I hope its not as bad as you're thinking!

Elaine...can we borrow some of your snow removal equipment? We need help! Honestly we can't have over 3 inches of snow on the ground...and school is closed! Yesterday our newspaper dared to compare us to "seasoned New Englanders" when it comes to handling the snow and cold now!!!! Oh good grief...you guys in New England...when was the last time ya'll missed school or work because of 3 inches of snow???
The county school website says that the kids, as of now, will not make up these days! I couldn't believe it when I read it this morning. They say they have enough "banked instructional time" built into the schedule so as not to need the make up days. Hmm.....translated I think that means they don't have a clue how tomake up all these days so we will pretend they never happened! LOL! Works for me!

Karen, you've definitely got to quit looking at the scale so often! You're doing great and your weight loss is going to slow down naturally as your body gets accustomed to its new regimen. Try checking your weight only once a week. I've gained and lost the same 5 pounds over and over for the last few weeks, so I know how frustrating it can be. Hope today at work is easier on you than you think it will be.

Good to see Jeannie was here last night! Very nice jammies you've chosen for Marilyn! Sorry your 'puter is being nasty to you and I hope it's better soon. Miss you around here, girl!!!
