Good morning to everyone. No Kim I am not working today. Actually I am taking my friend out for lunch. Her birthday was last week and I missed it because of working. Just finished wrapping her gift and will do some more laundry and then get ready to do lunch.

I should mention that tomorrow morning I will be leaving bright and early to go on a college visit. DS and I are going to Athens, Ohio. He has been accepted to 4 universities so far and has visited only one of them. He has some seriious decisions to make in the next few months. Anyway, I will be gone Friday and Saturday. So, Jodie or anyone else(maybe a certain mothy younger Ya Ya) I may need a little update highlight via PM when I get back.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes for my friend. I admit that I'm a little nervous taking her - I hate hospitals and although this is at the Cancer Treatment Center - it's needles and that "clean" smell!

She's bringing photo albums for us to look at for the 2 hours she'll be hooked up to the chemo.

Shep! GASP!!! We are the same age!! No - I admit it - I'm 41.5 yrs. old with gray hair and fallen everything!

Den meeting tonight to make up for the one missed Sunday....they are building bird feeders...hammers, nails and screwdrivers IN my house!

Tee Hee! Brings back memories of when my guy was a Wolf Scout and my den made the bird houses! The one Dad took the hammer off of me - said I was too dangerous and why didn't I go sit down and relax! Can you imagine that!

Older=gray hair & possibly spare tire

Oh, Todd!! SOME of us women happen to LIKE grey hair!! When I was 23, I had a humongous crush on a man I worked with who was 52 and had the most gorgeous steely grey hair!! And personally, I prefer my guy to have "love handles". These skinnies have all kinds of sharp corners where the bones poke out!!!

Oh yeah, and this side of 50 is a heck of a lot more fun than the other!!!!

Pam, you are such a sweetheart. I just KNEW that gruff exterior hid a heart of gold. Keep your friend distracted, we'll keep the prayer line open.

Hi ya'll!

Gots to go put on the makeup so that I don't scare everyone in town today, but needed a short break after trying to drag my TWO STUPID DOGS into the house this morning. Bark ~ Bark ~ Bark ~ Bark..... at what I ask you. NOTHING! Then they come in the house and Minnie proceeds to run the circle between family and living room, barking... waking Cam up 45 min. early. Grrrrr! The old puppy dog is deaf and blind and doesn't know why Minnie is barking, but figures there must be a reason, so he joins in too. He runs the circle as well, but can't see, so gets lost in the corner and begins his whine fest. ARGH! What a way to start the morning.

Beth, good morning to you! Got to agree about the grey hair! Early onset grey hair runs in my family... my cousin was completely grey by the time he was 18, and the girls loved it! LOL! Apparantly my mother and aunt also turned grey very young... have to admit, I'm glad I took after my dad's side of the family. Even at the ripe old age of 25, I only run across a grey one every few months.

Nah...I am more of a Breck Girl....the natural look is for me. Oh...for you "young ones"...Breck is an "old timey" shampoo that in its ads featured wholesome, natural look kinds of women. No cracks about the wholesome please!!!

Hee hee....aren't barking dogs FUN??? A couple of nights ago the snowplows finally worked their way into our part of the neighborhood....around 2am!!! Ya know that little beep beep beep sound the trucks make when they back up??? Zoe seems to be particularly BUGGED by that sound!!!! OMG....I was up all night with her saying "No barks...no barks!!!" Hmmm....bet that was why I was so tired last night come to think of it!
