Even if you visit New York, you could always go for a 2 centre holiday, which is essentially what I'm doing next week after my training course in Seattle.
You might not get to visit all the parks that Orlando has to offer, but you could still get a few good days visiting the magic kingdom and other Disney parks...
Plus, if you're over on the east coast of the states anyway, it's almost rude not to visit
