I am about to faint these cookies are so good!! :faint: :thumbsup2

I always made the recipe on the back of the chocolate chip cookie package and they were okay. Then I went onto allrecipes.com and found this recipe. It's sooooo good, I just have to share!

(These cookies bake up chewy and are not flat at all!)

2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 (3.4 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 bag chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until well blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally stir in the chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven (***Note - I have found 11 minutes to be perfect.***) Cookies will NOT look done right away but they will harden up a bit. Yummmmmmy!

Sounds yummy SDF. Unfortunately my "homemade" cookies are usually of the break and bake kind.

I was telling someone earlier. My poor kids think homemade are cooked at home (biscuits, cookies, etc) All my "homemade" stuff is usually prepackaged.

Store bought comes from a restaurant.

I'm going to print out this recipe for some time when I'm feeling ambitious. I love, love, love chocolate chip cookies, and I'm interested in this recipe that includes vanilla pudding as an ingredient. Thanks for posting this, SDFgirl! :)

Thanks for the recipe! I'm going to try these today. YUM!!

My SIL makes these and they are to DIE for!!!!
She makes them everytime we come to visit and we're headed up there this weekend!

Hello 5 extra lbs!!

I wonder how the'd taste if I used chocolate pudding instead of vanilla!
