I am about to faint these cookies are so good!!
I always made the recipe on the back of the chocolate chip cookie package and they were okay. Then I went onto allrecipes.com and found this recipe. It's sooooo good, I just have to share!
(These cookies bake up chewy and are not flat at all!)
2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 (3.4 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 bag chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until well blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally stir in the chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven (***Note - I have found 11 minutes to be perfect.***) Cookies will NOT look done right away but they will harden up a bit. Yummmmmmy!
