Chapter 15 - Going Home!
Yep, you read that right - at this point in our trip we are heading home!
To Canada....
Oh...Canada....don't know the rest of the Words!!!!
For dinner!
Yep, Le Cellier is calling our names!
So we headed out in the torential downpour almost an hour before our ressie because someone I know doesn't want to be late...
Yes it is a Long way...to Canada from Test Track!!!1
So we headed out like crazy people and waded through ankle deep water only to make it to dinner 35 mins early. Grrrr....I told him we had time to wait out the rains for a bit....
Anyways...
We got there and peeled off the wet ponchos. Nothing like wet plastic stuck to you to make you feel good for a nice dinner.
HG checked us in and I headed into the washroom with the girls to try to dry off a bit. We poured the water out of our shoes and stuffed them with paper towels and stomped around in there for a few minutes. That helped a bit for the feet but our clothes were still soaked. Okay, so the girls were just damp because the ponchos were long enough to cover their clothes but I was soaked. Again. For the second day in a row....
You Look Nice wet!!!!
Oh well....
Headed back out and sat down to wait for them to call our names....
Looked to my left and what do I see....
A LGMHPC!!!!
Yes, a Diser!
Can't remember her name...sorry if you are reading!
Her party was quickly called in to eat - lucky duck and I looked across the hall where another family was standing waiting and what do I see?
That's right....
More LGMHPCs!
More Disers for me to bother!
Can't remember their names either but we spent quite awhile talking. Lovely family!
Seems Le Cellier is the hot spot for Dis sightings!
We saw Disers there also!!!
My girls being the girls that they are struck up a converstaion with one of the hostesses and quickly discovered that she was from Delta which is about 30 mins away from us! Had to take a picture with her!
Then it was finally our turn to get our table!
WOohoo!!!!
Feed me!
First came the yummy bread...
Then the glowing drinks....ah, yes....the evening is looking up!
Glow Tinis!!!!
Bet you didn't know Tinkerbelle had a twin, did you?
I don't know why but I didn't take pics of all of the food - just some of it. Sorry about that....
Here is the kid's portion of the cheese soup
The shrimp appie....
The kids' steak with mashed potatos instead of fries...
And the mushroom fillet....yummy!
Ate way too much food and counted stuff dessert in so we took it to go. Poor moosey had to go for a ride in a box!
A Mossey!!!!
Stopped for a couple of pictures on the way out....
Gorgeous Sunset!!!
Time to head up and catch a ride on Soaring but first had to stop for a photo by the golfball...sorry, I mean Spaceship Earth!
Got a little closer and ran into a photopass photographer - handed over our card and told her to go for it!
Soaring was next....
"Can we please have the front row?"
Always ask for the front row on Soaring.
Just my little Disney tip for the day....
Learned that one from our many trips through this ride in California where there you go "Soaring over California" which is the same as "Soaring" in Florida. Still soaring over California but they don't want to admit that in Florida for some reason....
Smelled the oranges, dipped our toes in the ocean, ducked out of the way of the hidden Mickey on the golf ball and then it was back to reality!
Well, as real as anything gets in Disneyworld! Love that!
Went for one last ride on Test Track just because it is fun in the dark!
Here is the photo from that one - I left the boarder off so you can see the not so hidden Mickey in there!
Time to call it a night.
Back to the bus.
Back to the hotel.
Back to bed.
Zzzz.......
And none of you thought I get through the second day before Christmas!
Ha!
So there!
