Yeah Heather - I see that your ticker has run out of days so....Yippee! Its Disney day for you! Can't wait to hear about your trip when you get back!

Chapter 15 - Going Home!

Yep, you read that right - at this point in our trip we are heading home!

To Canada....

For dinner!

Yep, Le Cellier is calling our names!

So we headed out in the torential downpour almost an hour before our ressie because someone I know doesn't want to be late...:rolleyes1

So we headed out like crazy people and waded through ankle deep water only to make it to dinner 35 mins early. Grrrr....I told him we had time to wait out the rains for a bit....

Anyways...

We got there and peeled off the wet ponchos. Nothing like wet plastic stuck to you to make you feel good for a nice dinner.

HG checked us in and I headed into the washroom with the girls to try to dry off a bit. We poured the water out of our shoes and stuffed them with paper towels and stomped around in there for a few minutes. That helped a bit for the feet but our clothes were still soaked. Okay, so the girls were just damp because the ponchos were long enough to cover their clothes but I was soaked. Again. For the second day in a row....

Oh well....

Headed back out and sat down to wait for them to call our names....

Looked to my left and what do I see....

A LGMHPC!!!!

Yes, a Diser!

Can't remember her name...sorry if you are reading!

Her party was quickly called in to eat - lucky duck and I looked across the hall where another family was standing waiting and what do I see?

That's right....

More LGMHPCs!

More Disers for me to bother!

Can't remember their names either but we spent quite awhile talking. Lovely family!

Seems Le Cellier is the hot spot for Dis sightings!

My girls being the girls that they are struck up a converstaion with one of the hostesses and quickly discovered that she was from Delta which is about 30 mins away from us! Had to take a picture with her!

IMG_7555.jpg

Then it was finally our turn to get our table!

WOohoo!!!!

Feed me!

First came the yummy bread...

IMG_7557.jpg

Then the glowing drinks....ah, yes....the evening is looking up!

IMG_7558-1.jpg

Bet you didn't know Tinkerbelle had a twin, did you? :thumbsup2

IMG_7565.jpg

I don't know why but I didn't take pics of all of the food - just some of it. Sorry about that....

Here is the kid's portion of the cheese soup

IMG_7559.jpg

The shrimp appie....

IMG_7560.jpg

The kids' steak with mashed potatos instead of fries...

IMG_7561.jpg

And the mushroom fillet....yummy!

IMG_7562.jpg

Ate way too much food and counted stuff dessert in so we took it to go. Poor moosey had to go for a ride in a box!

IMG_7567-1.jpg

Stopped for a couple of pictures on the way out....

IMG_7568.jpg

IMG_7569.jpg

IMG_7570.jpg

Time to head up and catch a ride on Soaring but first had to stop for a photo by the golfball...sorry, I mean Spaceship Earth!

IMG_7572.jpg

Got a little closer and ran into a photopass photographer - handed over our card and told her to go for it!

image114.jpg

image95.jpg

Soaring was next....

"Can we please have the front row?"

Always ask for the front row on Soaring.

Just my little Disney tip for the day....

Learned that one from our many trips through this ride in California where there you go "Soaring over California" which is the same as "Soaring" in Florida. Still soaring over California but they don't want to admit that in Florida for some reason....:confused3

Smelled the oranges, dipped our toes in the ocean, ducked out of the way of the hidden Mickey on the golf ball and then it was back to reality!

Well, as real as anything gets in Disneyworld! Love that!

Went for one last ride on Test Track just because it is fun in the dark!

Here is the photo from that one - I left the boarder off so you can see the not so hidden Mickey in there!

image120.jpg

Time to call it a night.

Back to the bus.

Back to the hotel.

Back to bed.

Zzzz.......

And none of you thought I get through the second day before Christmas!

Ha!

So there!

:yay:

Great update! I love Le Cellier. Surprised to see your update this morning, thought it would another week :goodvibes since we are all so busy with holidays coming.

WOW!!!! I think that was almost as fast as the drive by princess viewing!!!!!!:rotfl:
OUCH! I ducked for cover and hurt my self, now I know how Dan felt! Something about that drive saying, I'm not writing it again. It's just too scary!!!!!:scared1:
I am so very proud of you for making an update, but you are making me look bad!
YUM Le Cellier, I wanted to eat there very bad, but couldn't get in except very late at night so we ate somewhere else. If I could have got in there then I probably wouldn't have had a ressie for our WORST food experience at Disney! Oh, WELL.
Love the pics as usual. And WHAT????? No cliffhanger???? I am shocked!!!!
Now I'm really wondering what happens next! But in the spirit of Christmas, I won't bug you about an update until AFTER Christmas!!!! See I AM such a GREAT friend!!!!!!
:rotfl:

And no, no cliffhanger today.....I was feeling moved by the Christmas spirit and thought I would be nice! Probably won't happen again so enjoy! :goodvibes

Yeah, update.:woohoo: :woohoo:

Wow you guys have been in those clothes FOREVER;)

What a perfect ending to a great day. Those pix in front of the golf ball came out great. What great memories for your family!!!!!!

I love Soarin but haven't ridden yet at WDW because of the fact it is currently the same as the one out here in CA....:confused3

great update. The restaurant sounds nice maybe in September I will try it, not this trip coming up.
I will have to try test track at night and will remember to ask for that row on Soarin'.

Great Update....

Will comment Later....

2 in 4 Days.....

:cool1: :woohoo: :cool1: :woohoo: :cool1: :woohoo:

I know, we wear the same thing for weeks on end it seems like! How about we change for the next update for you Jordan! :thumbsup2

I know Soaring is the same as the CA one and while I love it, I wish they had done something different in FL. They could go with the whole world showcase thing and go Soaring over the World and go around monuments from all over the world....

Le Cellier was wonderful! You have to try it sometime! :thumbsup2

Great update, Sarah!!

We LOVE Le Cellier! We have made 2 ressies to eat there next July for our big trip.

Are the glowing drinks good? What was yours? We haven't had them yet, but would like to try some day.

We're debating whether to take or wear any of the LGMHPCs. I am an avid DISser, but DW can't do it from work, so hasn't really gotten into it yet. Once she has time next year, I probably won't be able to tear her away! IT is very addicting.

So from previous posts, I guess we'll see a change of clothes? It has been awhile for day 2.

OK, since you have updated us before Christmas, we need to lay off and let you enjoy the holidays! :santa:

Thanks! Le Cellier was our favourite too!

The drinks were the Blue Glowtinis. It is their year of a million dreams drink....and they were yummy! And they glow! So it was all good! :thumbsup2

You guys have to wear LGMHPCs! Just a nice way to say HEY to your fellow Disers! We're nice people - really we are!

Ya, I know - it took awhile to get day 2 done - life kind of gets in the way sometimes....

Absolutely nice! I think once I can get her on, we'll be doing dismeets and wearing lime green!

Life is important. Kids are more important. We understand! :)

Very good update, Sarah!

I can't believe your hubby made you dash to dinner in the rain with 35 minutes to spare. What a goofball!:lmao:

Looks like you had a good dinner, though. I've always wanted to try that place, but I'm afraid my picky kids wouldn't like anything.

Great pics! Can't wait for more.:thumbsup2

I feel like I've waited ages for this update - I'm not used to these trip reports yet!!!!!! tee hee

Loved your review of Le Cellier... its definitely on our ADR list - only a few more days and I can make the bookings!

I love the pic of your girls hugging in front of the golf ball!

And I saw my first hidden mickey on your tt picture!!!

Joo xxx

It was great. Even if you have picky eaters for kids I'm sure you could find something there they would eat. And don't even get me started about the need to head out almost an hour early in the rain....grrrr.....

Le Cellier has to be on your "must eat there" list! It is great! Hope you get all your ADRs!

I have to say this about Le Cellier. I have always had spectacular service there. I always enjoy the food, but the service and interaction w/ the CMs is what really makes this place memorable.

Great update Sarah! Le Cellier is our favourite too.

Have a great Christmas!!

:woohoo: An update and it isn't even Christmas yet!

I'm playing catch-up again instead of writing an update! Shhhh... don't tell on me! :rolleyes1
