Do these words make anyone else :scared: ? I don't know but I can't stand either of them. :lmao:

I hate them, too, but I pretty much detest all things cutesy. :)

Siggie is a little :scared1: for me. Dunno, it reminds me of a pig or something :confused3 :rotfl2:

How are ya BTW

Ressie is hideous. :crazy2: For some reason I don't hate siggie too too much.

They don't bother me too much. I have even used both of them on occasion (sorry.) The ones I really hate are "prolly" and "preggers"

Oh, thank you, thank you. I thought it was just me. Ressie is a too cute trendy pick up from the Brits, and I have no idea what siggie is, and don't want to know.

I guess furbbie & hubby can be added to the list.

Hoodie, siggie, and ressie are all way too cute for me (unless their names of kittens, in which case  ).

Oh prolly is horrid. Just nauseating. :crazy2:

Don't even get me started on preggers. Or even worse, when a guy says "we're preggers!" Sorry, pal, until you grow a uterus you're nothing of the sort!

I detest those *words* as well. And while we're at it, let's add appy (for appetizer, I believe) to the list. I also cannot stand it when posters spell ridiculous as *rediculous.* Huh?:confused3 Okay, vent over.

I don't like anything cutesy. Ressie, siggie, Cindy's, sammie, furbaby, fluffy or pooh-sozed people....the list goes on and on :rotfl:

Not that I've heard it used here but I've always disliked "preggers".

Oh God, Sammie. Miss Fancy, the lady I used to work with, loved the word sammy. And sally or sal sal for salad. THat combined with dibby dab to indicate a small amount. So for lunch she'd tell you she wanted a dibby dab of sal sal (or sally) and a dibby dab sammy. :crazy2:

Is it any wonder I was half out of my mind at that job on a 24/7 basis?

Oh no you didn't!!! ;) You used the *p* word. Now the floodgates are going to open with comments from the defenders of the *p* word.

I had a co-worker like that, she used cutesy words for everything and gave everyone cutesy nicknames. It was just the two of us in a 5x8 office  .

At the risk of alienating about 98% of the folks here, I very rarely use DH, DD, DS, DM, DF, DMIL, DFIL, etc., etc., etc. because it just feels wrong. I don't really care when others do it, but it feels goofy when I type it. Siggie, ressie and furbaby top out the cringe-o-meter. I like real words in real sentences with real grammar and punctuation. I guess I missed the text and IM boat. :) I do like smilies, though.
