Finally! It was so hard for me to keep these people in line. I had to resort to grumpiness and you know that just is never in my nature!

Wow, DL better than MK. I'm surprised. I had always heard that DL wasn't near as good as WDW. Anyone want to comment?

Resort vs Reosrt WDW is better hands down.

DL park vs MK park and DL park wins hands down.

The castle and Splash are better at MK, otherwise DL is better in every other category. AND DL HAS MR TOAD!!!!!!!

DL is my favorite park after Epcot. I can't wait to go back next year!

Resort vs Reosrt WDW is better hands down.

DL park vs MK park and DL park wins hands down.

Exactly what she said. I'm a little biased as I've been to DL a bunch more times, but... The overall property is of course nicer at WDW because of the space, but if you're just talking the park, I have to hand it, no contest, to DL.

They are both awesome. It depends on the type of vacation you are after. WDW is more magical for sure, but DLR is way more convenient.

STOP posting pictures on MY trip report Buzz!! He knows darn good and well I was imitating him in that picture! He had just done that for a pose so I was making fun of him and he snapped a picture. I was stretching my tongue so hard, it hurt afterwards. I have a really short tongue-I think I sprained it after that feat.

Geez, my hair is getting white. Must be from being married to Buzz. I think I need to start dying that stuff.

Ok, here's my first official installment:

I do want to warn you all that this is going to move along a lot quicker than (*cough*) somebody else's (*cough*) trip report. So fasten your seat belts low and tight across your lap, watch the safety demonstration, yeah, I've been too many planes lately.'.. Here we go:

Saturday night before we left, I had a "disaster" that was not Disney related. A few weeks ago, I bought some Simpsons DVD's that were on sale. Those things never go on sale here so I got the 2 seasons we were missing for half price!! I was so excited. I put them somewhere where the kids wouldn't ruin them and immediately forgot where I put them. I spent all night looking for them and for my Wii game of GuitarHero. That got lost too. I finally found GH, but not Simpsons. I absolutely hate to lose stuff so this really bugged me. I was so happy to get a good buy on them and now I couldn't even find them!! So I stayed up a little too late trying to find them.

I was so bugged about it I woke up at 2:48 am. We were leaving the house at around 5:00 so I had a good hour or so to hunt them down. I still couldn't find them, so I decided to just try to deal with it (I get really obsessive when I lose stuff-it's not gud). I began by belting out "Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me?? M I C K E Y M O U S E!!! Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouse, forever let us hold our banner high..."

You get the idea. My a cappella solo accomplishment was two-fold. It put me in a good mood and got everyone up. I went upstairs, made the beds and straightened up. Secretly looking for the discs while everyone was getting ready.

Oh, well. Maybe I'd find them later. I helped the troops get ready, Buzz put everything in the car, I locked the doors, set the alarm and we headed to the airport. We were the only ones on the street-usually you see a few other cars. We were the ONLY ones! I found that very amusing. We park the car, headed right in to find a line at security. I've never encountered that before. Not in Billings anyway.

It was chilly that morning so we wore our jackets. LeeAndra wore TWO jackets!! Buzz had two also and a third that I would find later. I don't know where those 2 thought they were going, but whatever. So we go through security, put our shoes back on and start heading up the stairs when LA says, "Where's my other jacket???" I had no idea so I gingerly approached a TSA lady. They're so intimidating and I don't want to be seen as a "problem" in any way with security so I quietly asked, "What do we do if we're missing a coat?

Just then, I noticed a lady coming through the other side of the security line picking up a black Tinkerbell coat and hanging it on a post. I said, "There it is!" So the TSA lady smiled and went and got it for us. I thanked her and we were back on our way. We didn't have time to eat anything before we boarded. Well, actually, we might have, but Buzz didn't want to go through the line at the snack bar so we didn't get anything. We were starving.

We all got on the plane and all of us fell asleep. I learned something about each member of my family on this trip:

LeeAndra -she is a CRAB in the mornings!! Yikes.
Buzz sleeps a LOT!!! Ever since he got the flu, that's ALL he does!!
Trey-he gets just crazy to see his teacher on the same flight as we are (that's coming later!!)
I can sleep on a plane with my head cranked to the side and not even need my rubby!!

We all woke up just in time as we started our descent into Denver, only to be put in a holding pattern due to weather. We circled for an extra hour. Trey was constantly asking me how much more time. LA was crabbing. Dad fell back asleep. Me starving.

So to sum up:
*I lost 2 brand new seasons of the Simpsons due to my hiding them from the kids.
*I am not a good singer.
*Billings is very quiet at 5 am.
*Buzz and LA are Crazy Coat people.
* I lost those darn DVD's.
*Holding patterns are NOT fun!

Coming next: Popcorn for breakfast! Nutritious and Delicious!!

I see you mentioned you lost the DVDs twice. I know your exact feeling. I have misplaced things before and I had that pit in my stomach knowing that I put it in a good place so it would be safe but I guess it was safe from me too!

I am looking forward to your fast-pace TR and hopefully lots of pictures!
