My SIL is going down 3 days before our grand gathering. She called the WL IPO and asked if she could pick her tickets up early. (something she read on all ears net) I had no idea she cold do this. We all have 6 day hoppers and the dineing plan. Will this mess her up? I thought the ticket was 6 consecutive days in any major park not just 6 days. I hope I am explaining this correct.

She is picking her ticket up Sunday instead of Tuesday. Using it on Sunday for the Super Soap day at MGM then will not use it again until Tuesday - Sat. Which technically equals 6 days with major parks. Is this really allowed?:confused3

Also will this mess up her dineing plan days?

Tickets do not need to be used on consecutive days. They are good for 6 admissions and expire 14 days from the day of first use. So any 6 days over a period of 14 days is good.
She will be fine as far as them being valid, but she will have one less admission than you all while you are together since she will have used one day of her 6.

Great info thanks for the quick reply. It wont affect her dineing either I am taking it. As long as she doesnt use any credits? That is what was confusing me because they always say it expires the day you check out and begins the day you check in. Since she is not technically checking in I am guessing it doesnt count for that reason.

No, her DDP will not be effected at all by the use of her MYW ticket. :thumbsup2

The dining plan is not in any way attached to park admissions. The DDP is attached to the resort stay--1 cs, 1 ts & 1 snack credit per night of stay, begining upon date of check-in and expiring midnight of the date you check out. So her DDP credits are not available until your SIL actually checks in at WL.

The tickets can be separated from the room key and that is most likely what they would do in this case. then when she checks in she will get the room key which would have the dining plan on it.

Did the Wildnerness Lodge CM tell your sister to come to the hotel to pick up her tickets, or to the park. I'm curious, because it was reported on here not too long ago that you need to go to Guest Relations in one of the parks if you want to start using a MYW ticket before your actual check-in date.

BTW, since your sister will be there longer than the rest of your group, I just want to point out that after she picks up her ticket, she can add additional days to it at the ticket window without effecting the rest of your tickets. (Everyone in the room has to buy the same package, but after you have the tickets, you can upgrade or change them individually.)
