OK, here we go....THE POLL.....

our friends on the DIS decide where we eat!

We've decided to leave off places we've been before and have done a review of....and a few others because the DIS only allows 12 choices....

First Up

Breakfast:

You will get to pick THREE (3) of the following:

listed in no particular order....

Spoodles
Cape May
Kona
Boma
Whispering Canyon
FRESH at Dolphin
1900 Park Faire
Olivia's
Chef Mickey's
Wave
Sunshine Food Court
House of Blues Gospel Brunch (Sunday)

I voted for
Boma...because it's, well, Boma
Wave...because its new
and House of Blues Gospel brunch because I've never heard of it, and I would love to see a review of it. Plus how cool does a GOSPEL BRUNCH sound??!

well...I think you will have fun whereeve you go because you seem to be the fun type!! If I was there I would say eat breakfast with us so we could have some fun!!!

I voted for the Wave because it'll be new & I'd love to hear about how the food is.

I voted for Boma, Kona and Olivias. All there are fantastic...we went earlier this month and I have a ton of pics and reviews in my signature.

Had to vote for the HOB Gospel Brunch, b/c I'm thinking that's gonna be one cool review to read....

I would PAY to have you two review a Waffle House! :scared1:

HOB just seems to get no reviews around here. I would love to hear what you think of it! Also, we actually have one here that is WAY less expensive than the one there (DS still counts as a CHILD in Dallas! :rotfl2: ) but the spirit hasn't moved us to go there. ;)

Interesting...just called there to check out who was performing etc...

1st off, QUITE pricey! $$$$ $33.50 pp

not that the cost is a factor, as we spend a heck of a lot more than than on desserts alone... :rotfl2:

2nd....they don't know who is performing till a month before.

3rd.....tickets are non-refundable

Not that any of these things will matter, as we will do as the DIS " food gods" command.

If the DIS "spirits" move...and vote us into the Gossip er....I mean Gospel Brunch....we shall go....

Lord knows....I haven't been struck my lightening yet when we've entered Houses of Worship.....:worship:

I voted for Spoodles, Fresh, and Olivia's because I like to hear your reviews/report on places that are "off the beaten path". one of my favorite's was your review of a Casey's Corner meal that you and the K-Man had at 1 AM.

If it's anything like it was back in 2001...it's more "show" than "worship". But it was a GREAT show, back then.....I hope it's as good for you, now (if it "wins").

Again, I have to confess that my suggestion was partially selfish as we're thinking of going in December, with the kids...and I want to know if the experience and food are as good as they used to be. And I can't find reviews ANYWHERE. :cool1: I'm glad to see others are curious as well and voting for it.

And from reading your past posts/reviews/etc.....I suspect you guys will have a BLAST.

We'll probably be doing another "late night review" this fall.

Oct 3rd, we're going to be attending MNSSHP ;)

:)

OH I am sure, and actually it HAS been one of the places we've talked about going.

Kevin is actually very "spiritual" for lack of a better word....and well....me I just come with a LOT of baggage....catholic...southern baptist....renewed episcopal....MCC.....but anyway.....I am :offtopic: ;)

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

So....we've worked out the planning....and we shall do the

2008 Nosh Around the World with Mister Disney and Mr. D's K-Man

PM me if you are going to be coming and we'll work out the details!

i picked kona (and there'd better be a tonga toast!!), fresh (have read great things about the "made to order" breakfasts here) and wave (because it will be new and you two have to give it your unique review!!) :goodvibes

I voted for:

1. Cape May - because my friend Lynda works there and she's a brilliant CM :)

2. House of Blues - because i'd love to read your review of this :cool1:

3. Sunshine Seasons - because I care about your budget
