OK, here we go....THE POLL.....

our friends on the DIS decide where we eat!

We've decided to leave off places we've been before and have done a review of....and a few others because the DIS only allows 12 choices....

now up LUNCH:

You will get to pick THREE (3) of the following:

listed in no particular order....

Earl of Sandwich
Yak and Yeti
Beaches and Cream

(with the Kitchen Sink, does this mean a "just ice cream lunch?)
GF Afternoon Tea
(are we MAN enough to survive "Tea"?)
Biergarten
Chicken box from Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness

and then a nice picnic on the beach there (how romantic is THAT?? ...suggested by whogirl'smom)
Tutto Italia
Raglan Road
Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station
Restaurant Marrakesh
Turkey Legs in the MK

You should be fine at the tea, you already have your earrings in and everything. ;) Jewelry is a must for formal tea.

I still think the mini-wedding cake is a beautiful idea for tea, so sweet...but how will you eat all the little pastries, the cheese, the finger sandwiches and the cake...are you man enough for THAT??? That, gentlemen, is some serious eating!!!

If we can EAT our way through Bistro de Paris' ENTIRE dessert menu, I am sure we're man enough to eat whatever they put before us!

I picked EoS, killer bread babe! Beaches and Cream for the best burger and onion rings and The GF tea because it was amazing! DH still raves about our trip there early this month.

OK, I picked...

• Beaches and Cream - We loved it, but were not brave enough to do the kitchen sink with 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children). Let's see if you two can power thorugh it and live to tell the tale :lmao:

• GF Tea - As I said on the other thread, any time is a good time for tea! Love, love, love it!

• Chicken box on the beach - sounds like a good option for folks who are looking for something different, if it turns out to be good food.

How will you chose the Oct 3rd meet? I am thinking everyone and a box of chicken on the beach...you can build sand castles. :rotfl2:
Personally I was hoping it would be Marakesh....Mom wanted to go back and I would have liked to watch for afar.

I picked GF tea, Beaches and Cream, and Chicken Box on the beach.

Good luck!

GF Tea is ahead by a mile.....with a close 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th...

mmm....time will tell.....

I hear chicken on the beach and I think sand in my food :confused3 (yes, I do think weird :rolleyes1 )

Can't wait to see where you end up!

!

That sounds like SO much fun!! Sadly we won't be there 'til the 6th. Guess I'm a day late and a dollar short....well, technically 2 days late, but you get he point.:sad1:

drat! i'm going to miss the nosh! we leave around 11 on the 4th to fly home... since we just extended our trip from 6 to 10 days, i am doubting i could talk dh into adding "just one more day" :rotfl:

but, i left a message re: lunch on the 3rd... that could work :)

I had to choose the chicken in a box - really want to see how that works out. We'll be there at the same time, so if it wins and is a good choice I'll have to remember that for next year.

Now to try and talk DH into Noshing Around the World on the 4th!

Most likely not. But you never know. A friend of mine & I have been wanting to do a trip together but she is not a foodie at all so the F & W fest would be wasted on her. I just love reading your guys reviews & posts. DH & I have been dying to go back for the F & W fest.

Kae

I voted for the GF tea, Beaches and Cream (for the kitchen sink) and the picnic on the beach...what a  romantic idea!

PS: count me in for the Nosh (and hopefully a couple of nips too...I can't wait to try one of the grand marnier slushies)! I've PM'd you. :thumbsup2
