rie'smom and disneydreamin I would call EVERY DAY I have always been blessed with my additional dates or upgrade. I learned if you call early in the morning as well as in the afternoon they do have cancellations that come in. One suggestion is have the CM check each day you want one day at a time. Sometimes they can do one or more days of your request but not the entire time. Does that make sence? Just be persistent and don’t give up. Be sure to let us know how it works out. Sending you some pixie dust, and a wish for good luck.

Thanks for all the info!! We're going in January and understand the weather can be a bit iffy. Planning on watching the weather online a few days before, and hope they get it right. Do you know if all the rooms have connectors? We're seniors that love Disney, go every year, but usually stay at a Vacation Club. Since it's going to be a bit chillier, we thought we'd stay where we wouldn't have a long walk from the bus stop or for breakfast. My husband is a light sleeper, and thought we'd ask for a quieter section of the lodge. If there is such a thing.

We had a 5th floor courtyard view room. There was no issues with any noise at all. Only time we could hear noise from the pool was when we had the sliding door on the balcony opened. Otherwise the only "noise" we heard was ourselves. Our room had a connecting door to the room next door. I don't know if they all do or not.

The Villas at WL are near the bus stops but the furthest from the boat dock. It has a covered walkway. Roaring Forks would be a little bit of a walk from the Villas.

Me too! I can't believe that it's only 2 months away! We have a Courtyard room booked Dec. 6 - 14. This is our first Holiday trip to Disney World. I still can't believe we're going. It's like a dream!

Dec 17-21, its our first time to stay at WL so we are really excited.

We'll be there form the 13th-19th. I can't wait. I just found out that the second half of mousefest will be going on at that time. While I may think about stopping by a meet or two I really hope it doesn't impact crowds too much. We chose this time of year b/c the crowds are supposed to be very light that week. With two young ones not having to wait in line to ride pooh for the 10th time would be nice
