Yeah I guess that is a downside of DVC. I never really thought about that one. Can't wait only 11 days left!!!

Just a quick question, can't remember if I had already asked this or not. Have you or do you plan on decorating your door/windows on your trip? We have stayed in the Value and the Moderate resorts and have decorated our doors and windows. This will be our first time at a Deluxe resort and wondered if there are any rules for decorating. TIA for any comments.

I think it's the same as with a Value or Moderate. I've seen decorations on doors through the Resort.

Just got back last night from 4 nights at the WL. We were pixie dusted from a woods view to a standard club level room. It was wonderful! I'm not sure I would pay for club level at WL though as the offerings didn't appeal as much as the ones at Boardwalk have in the past but it was a nice surprise

We will be staying at VWL for 5 nights starting June 19th!!!!!!! That's coming up fast!!!!!

Ok, so here's my question. Are there grills at VWL? On our last trip we stayed in a villa at Saratoga Springs and there was a pavilion-type area with a charcoal grill in it. Is there a similar thing at VWL?

I did read the first few pages of the thread, but didn't make it through all 100+ pages yet, so if this has already been addressed I apologize

I love that the DIS boards give you someplace to go to enjoy the Disney happiness when you are not at WDW.

I hope everyone has a great week and it seems like many of us are doing the single digit or very nearly single digit dance.

I am treating my sister who is a school teacher to a Disney vacation. I can hardly wait to see her face when she sees the WL for the first time. She as only been to Disney 2 times and NEVER stayed on property.

OK. . We are on I10 headed toward Orlando. . Woo hoo!!! But in all the crazyness of our changes I forgot to pre order photo CD. . I tried to search but my phone is so crazy it wont highlight search for me to type because the ad it is close to it and it highlights it instead. . I tried calling wl and they transferred me to photopass and they are closed. . I am wondering how to pre order for the 99.00 the website only shows 149.00 I think. . Second question. . Do you ask for a upgrade or do they offer if they want you to have one??? Thanks for the help. .

How exciting! Cannot help photopass, but will suggest NOT to ask for a free upgrade. Upgrades usually just show up in the computer - some CM's will mention that you've been upgraded, others give you the key and let you be surprised when you walk in the room! Good luck and have a great time!!

Here is the website for ordering the photo pass. Do you have a way to order it before you hit the parks? I do not know how long of a period there has to be between ordering and using the pass. It does not say on the order page.

I cannot answer your second question. I am too shy to ask for an upgrade and I have never received one without asking so I do not know what you should do regarding upgrades.

Thank you!!! This is a long drive and it was excitement. for my family to hear the phone bilingual with your response. . They wonder why I have been obsessed. with Disney site and this one now they see how helpful you all are I am going to try that site now. . My phone is sensitive. . I will let you know what happens. . Oh and me too with asking for anything extra. . Since we had to change our days last min we had a hefty fee extra to pay so I might. Have the guts this time

Ohhhhhhhhh OK. . This is our first time. . . My husbands first time to wdw or Orlando. . Mine to Disney resort. . That must be what the pixie dust is for. .

I loved WL.. We had a standard view- and the view was not good. However, I knew going in that a bad view was a possibility. Next time, I will book a better category.

I found the rooms small, but cute. I think I like the rooms at the Poly slightly better, but as a whole, I like WL as much as the Poly. The staff was great, I love the
theming and landscaping, and I didn't even miss the monorail as much as I thought I would.

I will return to the WL for future trips- it was wonderful.

First time booking a Courtyard view! Very excited. We always go standard but have been upgraded every visit. Love that magical pixie dust It worked because we booked courtyard! Can anyone tell me if the rooms at the end of the resort that face the lake are woods view or courtyard? This was our room a few weeks ago and we love it!
