The Wiggles in the Parks

Hello. I have a DS age 3 who LOVES the Wiggles!!! Has anyone been to WDW recently and seen anything to do with them at any of the parks? Merchandise shops? Anything? And if so where (so I can make sure we hit it)? Thanks!

You can find some Wiggles toys at a shop right out side Playhouse Disney. They are the same toys that you can find at Walmart, Toys R Us, Target..... Nothing new. You never know though, maybe they will get somthing new and exciting!

My daughter also LOVES the Wiggles and I am always on the lookout for something new. We will be going to Disney in December.

On our last trip in October, 2002, I found out post-trip that the Wiggles had been filming a special at WDW that SAME WEEK.
I was beside myself...DS at the time loved the Wiggles...and I would have liked to get Anthony's autograph...!

OMG!! My daughter loves the wiggles....We will be going to WDW in Sept for her wish trip....Oh...I sure hope we can catch the wiggles while were there....

Any one know how to find out if they would be "filming" durring a particular time??

I think she would go nuts over seeing them....even more so than any of the princess that she has been looking for ward to seeing.

The Wiggles are such a staple of Playhouse Disney, that they should be included in the pre-show video or at least have Wags, Henry, and Dorothy included in the show. That would be fun! I used to hate them, but my DS's passion eventually led to an amicable acceptance of them!

Unfortunetly besides a few Wiggles toys there is not any attraction even remotely or partially related to the Wiggles. We also just missed a Wiggles taping at WDW in early Nov. 2002. However they do not generally tape anything there on a regular basis. We've seen them in concert and are going again at the end of August - they're great. My DD would also love to see anything related to the Wiggles while at WDW.

Oh Well. I thought I would get lucky and there may have been something added for the Wiggles in something like the PLayhouse Disney Live show, but DS will not miss them too much with all of the other characters there! DS age 3 is a large Wiggles fan....being that he is on the autistic spectrum with large language delay (only about 10-15 word spoken vocab) - the Wiggles song and dance repetition has done wonders for him! I couldn't stand them at first but after seeing him participate in songs for the first time made me learn to love them!

In January of 2004 my DS2 and my mom and I found a whole bunch of Wiggles souveniers. I don't actually remmebr what there was, but my son asked for a floor pluzzle of them and when he fell asleep we went back and got it for him. It is about 3 feet long and it came with colorforms. He loves it and can do it on his own. I have never seen it outside of DL though.

In reference to filming, try the Wiggles website http://www.thewiggles.com/ The people there are real friendly and know almost everything about them!

DS recently "grew-out" of the Wiggles, which dissappointed DH who I think enjoyed them more than DS. But we have a new daughter who can carry on the Wiggles tradition LOL
