Animal Kingdom today and first off we headed straight to get fast passes for the Safari ride, over to do It's tough to be a bug whilst waiting for our times on the safari. The parent switch again was a flop on ITTBAB I'm afraid, whilst in theory it works well, the parent waiting with the baby waits by the exit and goes through the exit when the first parent comes out, the problem is that there are loads of exit doors, when we came out surrounded by hundreds of people, we didnt' see Si and Zak waiting and had no idea where they would be as they were ushered out of the queue as we went in, so we hadnt' seen exactly where they were going, by the time we'd found them the next show had already started and to be honest we couldn't be bothered to go through it all again so Si gave that one a miss. I have seen on the family boards that people do tend to take their babies into these types of shows, but we didn't, I'm not sure the darkness and splashes of water would have gone down too well with Z and I'd have been too busy worrying about him to enjoy it, I guess it's personal choice.

Over to the safari next which we all rode together, even managed to buy Zak a little T-shirt that said “My first safari – WDW” on it, although he won't get to wear it until he's a year old!!!
One teeny tiny niggle here is that all the “my first trip to WDW” T-shirts started at age 18 month, they didn't sell any in young baby sizes, well not that we found anyway. Z was quite happy on the safari ride, although it is quite bumpy, I'd definitely recommend sitting in the middle of the row if you're holding a teeny on this.

Quick stop at the Baby Centre, now this particular one is EXCELLENT, they've really thought of everything, as you go in the nice cool air con hits you straight away, there's a desk and some things you can buy, formula, toddler snacks, nappies, chemist items etc. To your right there is a room for older children to wait, large room with a TV showing............. yep you guessed it, Disney movies ;-), small tables and chairs for toddlers, next to that there's a large toilet, with enough room to park a buggy in. Ahead there's an excellent changing room, it's very large and spacious and has lots of 'cot' type changing units, which baby couldn't roll out of. There are 2 nursing rooms, kitchen facilities (sink, bottle warmers, microwave etc.) and the best thing of all, is the highchairs in there as they're the same as the Mamas and papas Primma Pappa highchair (in fact I think they are the american version) which are suitable from 4 months as they recline and have altering heights. This is the only place in the whole of WDW where we saw these.
I was thoroughly impressed with this babycare centre as it really had everything you could need, it was spotlessly clean, nice and cool and very spacious and airy, and yes!!!! you can even take buggies in there :-)

Lunch at Pizzafari then we (of course) had to ride Dinosaur again as it would surely be rude not to! LOL

After that we were off to Downtown Disney for an afternoon's shopping and then off to our favourite restarant, Outback Steakhouse for dinner.

Thursday 29th May

Off to Magic Kingdom again today to do the things we wanted to redo or missed at the weekend. We got there for early entry, which to be honest I was a bit disappointed with as it only allowed you into mainstreet. Worked well for Rads though as all the characters were out so she got to spend a good hour getting loads of photos and autographs.

First stop the mountains, got Fps for Big Thunder and rode Splash mountain using parentswitch of course while we waited for our time, got straight onto Big mountain after that. Then we used Fps for Peter Pan, which still seemed an incredibly long wait considering we were in the fast pass queue. Over to do the obligatory Small World next, again all together. Then it was our FP time for the Haunted Mansion so we all rode that together again.
Stopped for a snack for lunch then we found a place outside Cinderella's castle to watch the Share a dream come true parade, which was wonderful. Rads was up dancing with the characters when they were looking for children to do that, and Zak loved watching all the charaters go by.

Space Mountain next using parent switch and then onto Buzz Lightyear, Zak had fallen asleep in his buggy so I just took Rads on it this time.
Now Rads has decided that she'd like to go on Alien Encounter with me!!! I really thought I'd got away with that one, but no! Now is it me or have they tamed it down, I seem to remember an awful lot more breathing down your neck etc. or has my imagination just made me expect it to be worse?

After Alien encounter we took the monorail over to EPCOT as we wanted to end the day with the Illuminations. Si took Rads on Spaceship Earth first while Zak and I had a look round the pin station. We then got the boat over the other side of the lagoon and wandered over to Morocco for some dinner, hugely long wait here for food and the did tend to dish up what they had while waiting for other things to cook which resulted in cold food, they weren't very happy when I pointed out that the adult meals were cold either – oh dear. I'm afraid that Morocco wins my prize for the grumpiest staff in WDW!!!

We then sat down to watch the Illuminations again for the last time on this trip :-(

Afterwards we walked back to the BCV and the girls decided to go for a late night swim, much to Rad's delight, so off to Dune's cove for a lovely swim, the quick showers and off to bed.
