Oh Marina, that installment broke my heart . You and your mom had such high hopes to give them a trip of a lifetime and they were horribly disrespectful to you. I am so very sorry for them doing that to you .

I can't wait to hear about the recent trip with Grumpy. It had to be better than this one with your sister. You are a very kind woman doing what you did for your sister, it is such a shame she can't appreciate it .

I have just spent 2 hours reading your trip report and I think your TR has to bew hands down THE BEST, FUNNIEST AND INTERSTING one I have read!! I did feel bad fpr you after going through so much for them to treat you that way. It does seem you have an unbelievable sense of humor. I love Grumpy!! My suggestion leave your DS in Paris

Marina - welcome back. Hope this trip was alot more "magical" than the one with your sister.

I just "fell" into this TR because my sister & I do go to WDW together & I wanted to see how your trip went. I was so hooked on reading your TR that I was up until 1am yesterday & just now managed to finish reading from page 49 on.

You really have 100% more patience than I do. I couldn't have held my tongue or my temper with what your sister and her friend put you and Grumpy through on the entire trip.

I just had a week-end trip at WDW with my sister & her entire family staying at CBR and it was a blast. It's just so hard to imagine someone coming to WDW and not having fun. It blows my mind...................

Can't wait to hear how the latest trip went. I know it's been hot & rainy here in Florida, but I hope you and Grumpy were able to relax and enjoy yourselves.

Forgive me, but this thought came right into my head - who paid for all the styrafoam boxes of food? Please tell me they didn't have you pay for the buffet and then charged the food to the room, which I'm sure you & Grumpy were covering...

Their behavior was... Lordy, I can't even come up with the right words!!! And I've traveled with teenagers who behaved pretty badly at times!!!

I'm very glad your last trip was wonderful - and I can't wait to hear about that one! I've spent the time you were away like a lot of other people here - catching up on your old reports!

Marina!! Glad to see that you are back, I hope that you and Grumpy had a awesome trip. I cannot believe those two . I would have run up to them and knocked the boxes right out of their hands I hope that this trip made up for the last. Can't wait to see how this one ends and the other begins!!

I did not tell Grumpy. She was upset that night because of Alex's attitude, and even though the trip was already a disappointment I didn't want to add that to the pile.

And also - you can call me stupid for that, I probably deserve it - I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. MAYBE Alex had suddenly felt better and asked for dinner. I don't give a flip if they did go to the food court to buy themselves something, it's none of my business. Plus Grumpy & I have done a few late-night runs to the food courts ourselves.
I just didn't understand why she wouldn't just say it.
To answer one poster's question, they didn't have charging priviledges on their room keys. We made sure of that. They had the gift card we gave them, as well as a little money of their own.

Can't believe it's something like 5.15 already and I still haven't slept. Better bring plenty of Diet Coke or it'll be free gas for everybody today!!

Thanks everyone for reading and commenting We did have a great trip, though we took it easy in the parks.. it was SO HOT ! I finally got the nerves to ride Tower of Terror, and Grumpy even went on Test Track. She hated it and I have the bruises on my arm to prove that.

I am shocked to hear about your sis and Alex up roaming the resort for "guilt food" - I wonder if there were other times they had done that and that's why they weren't all energetic when you all were supposed to be moving out early to enjoy park days... OR when saying they were turning in did they stay up w/ late night TV - I kept wondering how could she really be so very tired all of the time?

I guess you got enough caffine in you for work...I didn't see anything on CNN about some delirious girl at a gas station in France giving out free gas!

Ooooooo. I would be so hurt by now that would be the last straw. I know who would not be saying anything else to the rudeness! ME! The crankiness I get, after all we all can get cranky from time to time. But the sneaky, look how we fooled them, attitude would be the last straw!

But I am glad you are back and had a good trip with visits to the TOT and TT! They are both great rides! Hopefully the latest trip has cleaned the slate for you and Grumpy!

Oh Marina, how you must have felt. You went to a lot of trouble not to mention great expense to provide a great experience for them. Even working a second job to pay for it when your sis and her friend.....won't work at a first one. The fact they took such advantage of your's and Grumpy's generousity, is incredible. You provided them such an opportunity, of not just visiting WDW, but also another country. My oldest DS is a bit like this, so I completely understand how you felt when you saw them after dinner. I'm just so very sorry this happened to you.
