The who's going in August thread

We will be there from August 1-14th. August 1-9 at VWL and the reminder of days at BCV. Can't wait.

We're going for 10 days- August 16-26th. I haven't booked the rooms yet, I was waiting for discount codes. Here's my dilema- should I stay at Pop Century and save all that money for a return trip in Jan? Or..should we try a moderate for the first time, or should I break down and stay at a deluxe like we normally do. We visit so often and every time I struggle over where to stay and how much to spend!! It shouldn't be so hard for me, but it is.

I will be going from aug 13th-20th....celebrating my 24th birthday in MK on the 19th......I have NEVER stayed in WDW longer than four nights so I am WAY excited. Staying at the Swan for now....but might change to something else with discounts coming out soon......I've stayed at the dolphin before so I want to try something new I guess I cannot wait

Those are the exact dates I am going. How cool. I am staying at the Pop Century. I rather spend less and go more.

Every resort at Disney is great. You really can't go wrong.

We're waiting to see how the codes look for August b4 we book. Hopefully any day now...We were there last August right b4 school started. Last week of August. The crowds were what I considered "average." Not bad. Alot of rain and lightening. The pool @ BC was closed several times and rides and shows were shut down. Still had a great time. You just have to be flexible with your planning. I even did laundry that trip. We were just there in April and never deviated from our plans cuz every day had beautiful weather. Needless to say, I'm still catching up with laundry. Maggie

So far I'm planning on my birthday and the day after (August 12 and 13th) BUT if the FL resident discounts come out soon I'll try and get the day before ASAP. I'll be staying at the Grosvenors at the moment (or until Disney's onsite has a better deal!).

My family and I plan on checking into the Carribbean on August 21st thru the 28th only if they have the 7 for 5 deal. If not we will be there on the 23rd. Going to Universal on 8/19-21st. Cant wait!!!!

I started this way back in February.

So it was time for a BUMP.

We will be at POR from Aug. 11 - 22nd. Got AP rate for $93.64 per night. Total $1030. Room only.

If I can find time...I will put a list together of everyones post and "who will be where" in August.

Time is starting to drag already, but we are pretty much set now...I am looking forward to this trip. We are going with my sister and 3 nieces and it is going to be so much fun. Usually it is just DH and I going, but the kids coming along make it so much more enjoyable!

We will be at FW, having a relaxing vacation without the grands.

Can't remember if i posted this before...we're going to be at Pop Century from August 22 - 31. Can't wait!

We will be there from Aug 9th - Aug 13th staying at ASMo.

This trip is a combination of a couple of events.

First my son's b-day in June, a late b-day present but he doesn't care, he's going to see Mickey. LOL!!!

Then DH and my 10th wedding anniversary that is Aug 6th.

And last but not least, our daughter's b-day which is August 19th.

I wanted to go in September being that I have been to Flordia twice. Once in July for the 4th, big mistake!!!!

Then again in August {different year} and can remember what the heat and humidity was like. Of course DH has never been there and wouldn't listen to me.

Oh well!!!!

Me Too!! Me Too!! We'll be there August 12-17 at the Poly and then 17-27 at OKW. It is our 30th Anniversary, my son's B'day, and we are also celebrating my hubby's cancer remission. We are all looking forward to this trip after the very rough time we've had. Hope to see some of you!!!!!

August 28-September 4 at BC. Haven't told my kids yet! We went in January for a long weekend, so I'm embarrassed to tell people that we are already going back for another trip! But since I purchased the AP for the first trip, I thought I should take advantage of using it again during the year. I thought it was a good excuse! This time I want to sit back and enjoy the resort along with going to the parks.

Going to celebrate both my birthday and our wedding anniversary. I just hope it isn't too crowded. I'm counting on smaller crowds since many of the kids being back in school. But I'm a bit afraid about the beginning of Labor Day weekend being crowded.
