We are going 8/17-8/24/04...Either Dolphin or BC...depending if AP rates come out. We stayed at the WL lodge 2 yrs ago at the end of August. We had horrible rains in the evening...sat in the rain for Fantasmic only to have it cancelled! Sat in the rain for Illuminations which was actually kind of cool..Can't wait to go back!

July 31-August 7 at the WL for the first anniversary of our first WDW vacation (same time, same place as last year!)

August was hot but that did not stop us! We had an absolute ball. Bought ponchos for the rainey evenings-- maybe 2 or 3-- and just kept on going.

Don't get mad at me for posting here, but I will be at WDW for a day (most likely at Magic Kingdom). I'm going on a Royal Caribbean Cruise with my girlfriend and her family in mid-August. Before we go on the cruise, we'll be visiting her grandparents in Ocala for a few days. One of those days will be spent at a Disney theme park. I wish it was more than one day, but I'm still happy that I get even one day. Hope all of you have a great time.

We are doing a split month split resort stay!

Going July 21st thru August 6th and staying akl (1st time) and returning to the Poly! My b-day is in there but we don't celebrate that anymore.

We were also there last august and the rain was horrible! Looking for much better weather!

We'll be there August 21 - 27 for our first girls-only and first August trip ever! We'll stay first at BWV studio and then at the Cont Tower.

No daddy this trip! Hope I can handle my 2 DDs without DH!

I also hope I can handle the hot, humid weather!

August 6 and leaving on the 13th to go to Myrtle Beach to visit the in-laws for a few days.

Yes, it will be hot and humid, but it's hot and humid in Maryland too. We don't want to take our high school daughter out of school; she'll miss way too much. So we have to go in the summer.

It will be the first time to WDW for DD (14), DS(7) and me (40 something). DH was there as a kid in the 70s, but we're counting this as his first time too. We're staying at the Port Orleans Riverside and we are so excited!!

Spring Break at AKL has been planned to the HILT, so I've come up with something to pass the time - an August trip!!
Hemmed and hawed about trying "new" resorts, but think I'll stick with my first love, GF!

We are leaving Aug 6 thru 20th - 6 nites @ CBR and 8 nites at POR . We are sooooo tired of the rain here (only probably 4 more months of it) that it can be as hot as August wants. I know it rains usually every afternoon at WDW, but thats only for hopefully an hour or two - not 24/7 like we usually have this time of year. Now if the discounts will only happen - I will truly feel the magic!

I already posted when this thread was first started but I changed my reservations around a little, so that gives me an excuse to post again.

We arrive in Orlando 8/13 and will stay at Embassy Suites near MCO for 1 night. Next morning it's rise and shine and off to the BC for 9 days. On 8/23 early check out and we'll head to the Hard Rock Hotel (switched from the Royal Pacific) for 4 days, then on 8/27 off to Miami for 4 days. Woo hoo!

We're getting a little taste of spring here this week so it's really getting us in the vacation mood! (But it's going to snow here next week )

This thread finally got me to crawl out from lurking and post!
My family is headed to WL August 1-5, and of course we can't wait. As I was shopping for groceries the other day I felt like telling everyone in the frozen food section..."I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!"

It's still a suprise - I will be there with DD, my sister and niece - true girls only trip.

From August 29 - Sept 4 .

The trip is a first for my sister and niece. We are telling the girls Easter Sunday (the day after DD, DH, and myself return from a spring break trip). First time DD has another kid along.

We are staying at the POFQ (hoping for a code - but going none the less).
