Lovely start!! I'm drooling already! Now to figure out what's in the fridge for dinner. So disappointing. lol

:welcome: Haha. I know what you mean. We are having Stouffer's lasagna because it is so easy to fix !!

Glad you had a solid meal at Le Cellier. I really liked that chocolate dessert (the "Nanaimo" bar), and the filet looks very good as usual. :goodvibes

You had me at Grey Goose Slushie! I can't wait to read more!

I know !! Nectar of the gods !!! Love that stuff !!

That is what it is called !!! I looked everywhere for a description but couldn't find it. Yes, very yummy !!

Excellent updates. I always love a good le collier mushroom filet review.

I am so bummed they are going to 2 credits. Why are they always trying to fix what isn't broke ???

After a swim and some rest, we got ready for our dinner ADR at Cape May Café

I would so love to stay at this resort one day.

We grabbed a buzzer and waited ……. And waited. At least a half an hour. Finally, we were seated.

They have these little 1900 era bathing suits for children in frames.

DD requested this ADR specifically because she likes the food here. We all like it, so it is always a good meal for us. DD likes the macaroni and cheese.

DSC03636.jpg

And I do admit, It is really good mac and cheese.

I ordered a Magical Star cocktail.

DSC03637.jpg

You can’t see my blinking ice cube in this photo. But it was there and it made me happy.

DH really loves the seafood they have here.

DSC03638.jpg

DS loves the mac and cheese, too.

DSC03639.jpg

All of us love the dessert buffet.

DSC03640.jpg

The oreo bon-bons are the yummiest.

DSC03641.jpg

I loved all of these things, oreo bon-bon, key lime tart, raspberry cheesecake and some kind of cake.

We all very much enjoyed our meal here. Will definitely make it back.

I settled the tab while DH took the kids over to the gift shop.

Lunch at Good's To Go

We just went over to Goods To Go at OKW to get our food and bring it back to our room.

I got the turkey wrap.

DSC03665.jpg

This was quite tasty and a change from the normal fare, so I really enjoyed it.

DH got a burger

DSC03666.jpg

And each of the kids got chicken tenders.

DSC03667.jpg

For dessert, each of the kids got a Mickey ice cream bar and DH and I each got some key lime pie.

DSC03669.jpg

Which was really good.

DD really wanted this cookie, so I burned a snack credit to get her one.

I'm a big fan of Cape May! It's a tradition with our running group every January when we are down for the Disney Marathon weekend.

It is a must do for us as well. It is so hard to get DD to eat anything, that I will go to any place she loves. We all like it there, so it's a winner.

Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

DSC03764.jpg

Here’s the menu.

Patriot's Platter - Roasted turkey breast, carved beef, and sliced pork, with traditional accompaniments, seasonal vegetables, mixed greens with house-made dressing, and house-made apple craisins cake with ice cream.

So we got our buzzer and waited about 10 minutes and they called us in.

DSC03765.jpg

We were seated in the back corner and DS took these photos of the things on the window sill.

A couple stories about this meal.

First of all there was a table next to us that had a very fussy baby. And they were just sitting there trying to distract it instead of just getting up and taking it outside. There were six people at the table, so someone could have easily done this while the others stayed to settle up the check (there were just getting finished thank goodness). I will never understand people that do this, but thankfully we only had to put up with it for about 15 minutes. But it was a long 15 minutes. It was so nice and quiet after they left. Seriously, I felt like standing and clapping as they left. I am not saying my kids didn’t get fussy when they were babies, they did. But we were always considerate and left when they did get fussy. To tell the truth, we just didn’t go out much when they were younger.

Another thing that we found interesting was this man that looked exactly like Santa Claus. I even snuck a picture of him.

I would expect to see something like this at Christmas. But in the middle of June ?? We found it interesting.

Anyway, on to the food photos.

We very much enjoyed this meal and would go back again. Everyone got plenty to eat and even the kids ate well. No complaints.

We burned some more snack credits after dinner.
I love this confetti popcorn.

Actually, the popcorn wasn’t a snack credit, but the other things were. DH joined us (just in time to pay for my popcorn, YAY !!)

When Devin was younger if he started acting up in a restaurant I'd start sweating! We always took him outside. I remember one Christmas Eve just getting our food to go because he just wouldn't behave!

And speaking of Christmas...

I read recently on Yahoo about WDW asking a man who looked like Santa to leave because he was signing autographs when the kids came up and asked him!

I was thinking of you this morning when my ortho slapped a boot on my left foot! 85 days out from our trip and they told me we'll discuss it next month whether I should go or not!:scared1:

I've never been to LTT because, when I go to Disney, I want to try food I can't get at home, and comfort foods are abundant in the South, but I understand how, particularly with children, this would be an appealing option who tend to have less adventurous palates.

It really does look good though.

I heard that about the guy dressed like Santa after we got back and I was pretty sure this was the guy. He seemed to really enjoy the attention. I liked him. He seemed harmless.

Oh. My. Word. What happened ??? Why are you having to wear the black boot of torture?? I sooooo wish I could have cancelled this upcoming trip. But we were going to lose all our points and money, so we just decided to suck it up and go. Who knows ?? it may be the best trip ever. And hey !! I can give you a scooter review. Let you know how it works for us and therefore you can see if it will work for you.

I hate you got hurt. I hope you are better soon !!! I have surgery on the 20th and won't be out of a cast until after Thanksgiving. I sooooo dread that surgery !!

I know what you mean. The South does have some pretty awesome comfort food. We live in South Carolina and we have this restaurant called the Lizard's Thicket. Best southern comfort food EVER !! I have nicknamed it the "Thicker". because it makes you thicker to eat there. But ohmigod, so yummy !!

And I like to try new things as well, but the kids need to eat, so we try to mix it up, so they enjoy it as well. They really liked the food there. I even got them to eat some green things !!

That's the thing....I did nothing!! It started hurting then got worse! They're treating it like a stress fracture even though it doesn't show on x-rays. :confused3

Whoa !!! That is nuts !! Obviously, it was bothering you though or you wouldn't have gone to the doctor about it. But no single incident that stands out that indicates WHEN it happened, huh ?? That would seriously drive me crazy. If it doesn't get better then I would ask for an MRI to see what might be lurking.

Mine was not healing like it should. In one of my physical therapy sessions, the PT was perplexed and said to me, "something is wrong besides a bad sprain. It should be healing better." I pushed for an MRI immediately !! I wasn't going to let them waste months telling me that it will heal, I just need to be patient. I just wanted to get it fixed ASAP. Or, well, after I get back from Disney. :lmao:

I hope you are feeling better soon !!!

Tomorrow is the big day!!! :woohoo:

:cool1::cool1::cool1: HAVE A GREAT TRIP, Susan & Family!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:
