He's like 15! He says he is going to wait until they both graduate high school in 2014. Still, 18 is too young.

OOOOHHHHH That's what I plan to do when after I graduate. I'm hopefully going to my dream school of Stanford, which is fairly close to DL, so... it just works.

This girl in my class has been dating her current bf for about 3-4 months now. She sometimes writes her name with his last name instead of her maiden name. They both claim they are "married." *she was obsessed with her x-bf! ......she memorized his liscense plate number, when she didn't even know her own. Creepy....

This boy in my class goes out with a new girl every other month. The girls usually dump him because he says he loves them after 2 weeks of dating. This new girl he is with apparently likes him a lot and accepted a engagement ring after dating for 2 months. I wish him the best, but please, patience!

It was more or less a cheap-o ring. I think their parents are okay with it if they wait til they graduate. My parents, on the other hand, would kill me if that happened.

Ok. Like I have a friend who plans to marry her boyfriend 8 years from now (they've been dating a year), which I think is crazy. They are younger than these two, but the whole arrangement isn't official. No engagement ring. So I'm pretty sure the two you are talking about are insane.

Ugh,I hate when some couples think their going to stay together forever,until they break up.
Some girl I know in band just had a baby,and she's 16. She tells everyone that she and her boyfriend are going to never break up,but I know he's going to break up with her in the next two years...

I wouldn't knkw the exact word to call it : promise ring? engagement ring? IDK, point is, they want to marry each other within the next few years. I think it's insane, but you have to expect this from a small town with much impulsiveness and little ability to think. I feel like a green apple in a pit of red apples. You just have to live here to experience what I am saying.

I get what your saying. I thought my town was like that at first with some of the idiot kids at my school, but it changed. The neighboring town to us, though, that's where stuff like this would happen.

My friend was 'engaged' to her boyfriend when they were 15. I told her she was stupid and she was all "no I'll always love him and we're going to get married in 3 years and I love him!" etc etc. They broke up shortly after.

This is why I'm having an relationship when I'm done with school. I'm more focused on my school work then having a relationship with a boy,even though I think I'm ready. xD
