And I know it must be annoying that everybody thinks all British people talk the same. Because everybody thinks that all southeners talk like hillbillies. TBH, the only time I've heard anybody with such a deep southern accent that they sound like a hillbilly was on tv. xD

People think we all have the same accent as George (not a bad thing lol, your accent rocks) but we don't. Mine in particular couldn't be more different. A lot of things aren't pronounced typically Englishly here like the rest of the country and sound more of an Irish-y pronunciation.

On the train last week, I heard a lady with a posh accent asking where the train was going (she got on the wrong train, and didn't realise until about 8 stops later...), and I randomly thought to myself "is that how I sound like to everyone else?" because I really can't hear the poshness in my voice..

I don't even know where a posh accent could come from for me. Nobody in my family talks with a posh accent, nobody I know at school or anything. My sisters even point it out sometimes when I say certain words (namely "awful"), and sometimes get me to talk to their friends on the phone so they can hear my poshness

We had basically a free in Welsh today even though our teacher was there but anyway we were talking about accents and how some peoples accents come out stronger when they're with different people and my friend Meg turns round to me and just goes CARAHHHMELLL
