We had our To Kill a Mockingbird seminar in English class today. Hahahaha, we were on the topic of North vs South/Big City vs. Small Town for an hour. We all agreed South wins. And Small Town wins because our town we live in is on the smallish side.

But I've lived in the biggest city in NC for half of my life, then I moved to this small town. Small town is WAY better. No doubt about it.

And LOL, we were talking about Yankee sterotypes. We all agreed that a biiiig one is that "they're all MEAN!" And one girl is from Chicago and she said that she was freaked out when she moved down here and everybody said hey to her, even though they didn't know them, when she was out and about. I was just like "...people don't do that in the North?" Dude, how can you walk by somebody on the street and NOT say hello, or wave, or nod, or even acknowledge their existence. Hahahahahaahahahahahah

I'm watching Cake Boss and Buddy had to make a NASCAR racecar. But he keeps calling the actual racecar a "NASCAR" and I'm like "NOOOOO, THAT'S A RACECAR BUDDY!" North Easteners know nothing about NASCAR. Buddy's all like "This NASCAR turned out really good!" oh lordy.

We had our To Kill a Mockingbird seminar in English class today. Hahahaha, we were on the topic of North vs South/Big City vs. Small Town for an hour. We all agreed South wins. And Small Town wins because our town we live in is on the smallish side.

But I've lived in the biggest city in NC for half of my life, then I moved to this small town. Small town is WAY better. No doubt about it.

And one girl is from Chicago and she said that she was freaked out when she moved down here and everybody said hey to her, even though they didn't know them, when she was out and about. We don't do that here. We'll say hi to our neighbours but other then that, no. We ignore each other.

Is this if you know them or not? Because if I don't know them, I wouldn't acknowledge their existance unless they're in my way or something... I would expect the same from the other person as well. I would be a bit creeped out if some stranger said hi to me. It's the same on buses and trains and stuff. Don't know them, then you ignore them. Then again, that's what I tend to experience.

You do live in Florida, though, I'm not sure why, but FL doesn't really have a lot of "Southern" "traditions"

Is this if you know them or not? Because if I don't know them, I wouldn't acknowledge their existance unless they're in my way or something... I would expect the same from the other person as well. I had a dream that Sara,Sarah,Drew,Timmy,and I were going on Splash Mountain. Sara decided she wanted to go flirt with some guy she thought was Justin Bieber and left the four of us,lol. As the boat was moving,Sarah jumped out of the boat,pushed the boat with Timmy,Drew,and I in it and threw it down the drop. We were all screaming so loud and Sarah starting drowning in the water.

Then,Figment and Dreamfinder started invading my dreams again,but luckily daddy woke me up with a surprise...

I GOT THE TANGLED DVD!!!!!! :'D

Well since houses are about 60 yards+ apart here, I don't see anyone walking on sidewalks, because there aren't any sidewalks. xD Could it be that Florida was a Spanish owned territory be the reason that it does not really have "southern" traditions?

Adding to this, if I was walking around downtown in a different city, I would not be saying hello to people. I just say hi to people in my town. People in big cities ignore you.

Poor Sarah and I probably could see Sara doing something like that, no offense to her. But wouldn't it be awesome if we all met up someday and all of us went on Splash? That would be great!
