Kat ~ Good luck today!! My heart is with you today. I know it will be SO DA** hard but you my friend will be ok. If I can do this you can to. Call me if you need a Mother's shoulder. I truly know how you are feeling.

Kady was here yesterday and wanted to play a game. Okay. How do you play Mancala? Well that was a disaster, she ended up in tears because I said I'd call Marisa to help me, she wanted to teach me. On a good day I cannot figure out her rule...never mind on a game that I never saw before! We played Trouble so all was well but I was thankful that I had Princess Protection Program on my DVR! WE snuggled on teh chair for an hour until she was done woth that too

Poor Kady and Nancy!

One thing I have learned in 20 years of childcare is that children have their own rules and ways of playing games. The kids in our programs don't like it when I won't play their way. It is interesting as I go from program to program and see the kids playing a game the same way and they are not playing it the way the instructions say to.

I can't go all the way back to read everything right now so I called Laura last night and asked for an update on what you all have been up to.

Glynis, I can't believe you guys all had the swine flu! That is terrible, and I am glad that you are feeling better.

Bethany, good luck on the move!

Ann, I am looking forward to hearing your happy news.

I apologize for what I missed, I will get back up to speed soon!

I'm still working on photos from the trip, maybe in about a week or so I should have some food pictures to share. We had a great time as always.

Quick checkin, I have a dr appt this morning. But I didn't want y'all to worry cus I didn't check in yesterday due to having a lower back injection done. Today I'm going to talk with my neurosurgeon the EMG showed that I have carpal tunnel, but the NP said the dr feels the neck issue trumps the carpal. I WON'T have both of those at once, so I'm sure we''ll be setting up for my neck surgery on the 15th.

We spent last night finalizing our plans for the 4th. We decided to head to Dallas b/c it's not a bad drive from here (the lakehouse didn't pan out) We got a great deal ($54/night) at the Dallas Intercontinental. And we're gonna got to a Rangers Baseball game Friday and then Six Flags on Saturday. And then if DD has her way, the American Girl Place on Sunday. Fun, fun!

You will be SO CLOSE to me!!

I have no idea what we are having but I can assure you that whatever it is, I won't be cooking it. I'm exhausted! I had to take my sister to the airport this morning and it is 75 miles away. We were up at 3:40 this morning so I'm really, really, looking forward to crawling in my bed tonight. I just hope Hailey cooperates.

We are supposed to be on our way to Houston but DH golfed this morning, got home later than he thought, and hasn't packed nor done the dishes yet. So, here I sit! I could have stayed at work longer

Tonight will be something in Houston; we hope to meet up with some friends that live there.

Hi Everyone...yes, Liam's team did indeed lose last night. However, the season isn't over. It is double elimination, and because Liam's team does not have a loss, we get to play the same team again tonight. Weather permitting, of course.
