I hope to be back to a somewhat normal schedule by Monday. My Mom is supposed to go home today...but my sister never made plans for a pick up....I hope everyone is doing well. Hugs to everyone!
I was thinking of you today
I got a call from a family interested in Ace this week! I am going to call her today to have a more in depth conversation with her and see about a meet up. She found him on Petfinder!
I hope that they fall in love with him too!!
Glynis - Your reports always make me smile.![]()
Me too!
Sorry, I have not posted to anyone really. Just tired and not up to being on the computer much. If I am I tend to lurk to try to keep up with you all.
Hugs to all,
Ann
Aw Honey, you worry too much! Your job is to rest and relax. That is it. Like Kathy said, I also wish I was closer to help
The most interesting fact is that both of them were born at 4:04 -- Liam PM, and Caili AM. The reason I know this is that my birthday is also 4/04. Weird, huh?
I think that is cool!
This week was so good that I didn't arrive at home emotionally and physically worn out. I mean, I'm tired but not so tired to not enjoy dinner and dessert =)
It is about time that you take one of these trips and come home not all worn out! I'm glad that you had fun!
Nancy, I know it is wrong to laugh at your pain and suffering, but I have to admit that Kenny and I were both laughing last night when I read him your post about Buddy verbalizing with the news.
I can so see that.
Amanda's trip home from camp didn't go as well. The church van broke down 2.5 hours from home. Can you imagine being the poor adult with a van full of kids broken down in this heat?!? Bless her heart. But the kids are home and the driver seems to have remained sane.
Still no floor guy last night but he swears he will be here around 3 to finish the floor. We'll see, but that unfortunately means I won't be able to cook tonight and we are running out of decent takeout options in my small town. Oh well, I'll just take it as it comes.

I usually tell him what I say about him but not this time
He was really insulted when I told him that I knew his opinion because he had shared it over and over and over.....so I figured I better just be quiet and
with him. Poor Amanda! Poor bus driver!
Did the floor guy make it today?
Morning, everyone! I'm celebrating here, because it seems like Timothy has finally figured out the whole day/night thing. For the last 2 nights I've put him down at 8:30, and he's slept the whole night. He'll wake up at 6:00 for a feed, and then back to sleep until 8:30! I'm feeling much more human, now!

Dinner should be grilled steak, corn on the cob, sauteed mushrooms and a salad. That is if Buddy can get off the chair to light the grill. Today was his day for everything to break down so he spent the entire day fixing everything he wanted to use before he could use it
I am enjoying a blueberry cocktail tonight. Blueberry vodka with a little white grape concentrate and some lime juice over ice. Really good!
...I hope everyone is doing well. Hugs to everyone!

I'm glad everyone is okay and sane. I hope tonight was the night for the floor guy to finish. Home improvements always take longer than expected.
They all played so well today. There were a lot of key hits and some good plays. The MVP of the game (unofficial, based on spectator votes) was Liam!
He came in to pitch in the third inning with the other team ahead 1-0. Over four innings, he struck out nine, walked two, allowed one run (after his team was ahead 4-1) and made a terrific defensive play where he stabbed a hard shot up the middle, fell to his knees and fired to first base for the out. His teammates all swarmed him after he struck out the last batter to win the game.
I am so tired of going places and worrying my water is going to break when I am out and about.
)
for little Ace finding his forever home.
No, he usually plays infield.
Emma, which is probably just what she wants!

I checked the bacon wrapped pork recipe around 630 to start dinner and realized I had to marinade it beforehand. Oh well, we'll have it Monday.
Morning all...still here.
