AGAIN............I have to apologize for not being here. I have been busy, but that really is no excuse. I miss you all so much. I am going to make a conscious effort to get in here daily from now on. I need you ladies!!
That makes sense to me about the earthquakes. We have had a few tremors here but nothing big I think there from Kansas and Oklahoma. We live in tornado alley in Nebraska (blah). We are only here because of my dh's job. We grew up on the East coast and we didn't have tornados huge snow storms and one year my hometown flooded but no tornados.
Welcome!! From one Nebraska girl to another I am glad to meet you. I don't very often meet someone from here. Where is home? I am from Lexington - smack dab in the middle of the state on I80. Talk about snow - last Sunday we got about 9". We even had to call off church services.
Brandi & Alison ~ Thanks for your concern. I really miss you ladies when I don't get in here. I am sorry I worried you. But hopefully I am back!!
Brandi ~ I saw that jar of tequila - holy smokes I wish I was closer. YUM!! I feel so bad that you still are struggling. Bless you - please take care.
Alison ~ You have really been having a great time lately. You know how envious I am. But lucky you. How is Fran feeling? How is the apartment coming?
Nan ~ Holding Pat and your whole family in my heart and prayers. Please know we are here for you whenever you may need us.
That Bud, he just makes me laugh, but like we have said a 100 times, him and Doug are SO alike. I love him and I want him to live long but sometimes I just give up. He is a big boy and knows what he should have and what he shouldn't - his choice. But like you if I cook it he will eat whatever it is. MEN!!
Kimmar ~ I am so glad you have your kitchen back. Yea!! Finally got my bedroom back and now Doug is talking about doing the kitchen. As much as I would love it I will NEVER let him do it himself. If and that is a big IF right now, I will hire it done and they will have 6 weeks. PERIOD!!!
PIO ~ So glad to hear that DS had a great time in Japan. What an awesome experience. I am loving your TR. And as always your pictures are breathtaking. I copied your chickpea curry. I am trying that - can't wait.
To everyone else that is new - WELCOME!!
LIfe is busy for us. I swear - I told Doug just the other day - we are busier now with the Grands than we were with 3 kids at home. But we love it!! We have baby calves all over our pastures and we have 9 of them we are having to bottle feed, so that keeps us busy and very close to home right now. Matthew and Stephanie are running the Lincoln Marathon on Sunday and it is the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders meeting in Omaha on Saturday. Doug has to stay home to bottle feed, but I am going. I'm staying with Matthew & Katlin. We will all go to Omaha tomorrow, but we only have credentials for 4 so we will have to go in, in turns, but we don't care as it is very interesting and a lot of fun. Just getting away for a few days and seeing my kids will be fun. Last night was Ethan's Spring Band concert and Lilly will graduate preschool next week and Liam the next week. They are growing like weeds. I talked to Harper (2) on the phone the other night and she is talking in sentences - when did that happen?
WFDT ~ Subways on the road to Lincoln. YUM!!
Make it a great day and a fantastic weekend
