Woo Hoo - 2 Days to go!

and right now I am so knackered - after a very busy busy day - up at 5:30am to start preparations for the fundraising garden party we held today. The weather held and it was a success - we raised £350 for the local hospice and had a great time doing it (ate far too many cakes though).

Packing - zilch today, so looks like a very busy packing day tomorrow! Up early on Monday to go to the airport so right now I am off for an early night. See you all tomorrow - when I will be shouting from the rafters the following magical phrase:

"I am going to Disneyland tomorrow and I am too excited to sleep!"

What an awesome Pre-Trippie! Sounds like you guys really get into the right spirit to enjoy a Disney Vacation! It's good to know that someone else is as bad as me for getting round to writing trip reports too!! We are going to the mouse again in 2 weeks, and I have set aside next weekend to write up our last trip before we go!!

I cant wait to hear all about Dland Paris, I would love to someday go there! Well to all of them but more Paris just cuz.. its Paris LOL

Guess what I am doing right now - packing! Still packing after starting earlier today but then taking a break to visit Mum for Sunday dinner this evening!
This morning we had to take a quick trip to town after I measured the hand- luggage bag, which I always use for hand luggage, and found out that either the hand-luggage bag has shrunk since it's last trip on an aircraft, or the hand luggage dimensions permitted by Flybe are less generous than those allowed by other airlines. Our poor hand-luggage bag was now 1 inch too long (and that was with me measuring it rather than Tony, who being male would tend to overestimate any measurement in inches.) The upshot of all of this measuring was a trip to town where we picked up 2 hand-luggage trolley cases which fitted within the dimensions with inches to spare - for £8.99 each - bargain!
Of course I had to pop into the Next sale and picked up a pair of combat trousers to wear on the journey - for £7.00 - so I was really pleased with that!
And then it was back home to pack up our one check-in case - now is it just me or is it actually more difficult to pack for 4 days than for 2 weeks - I certainly think it is! We have been round to see our pirate crew and synchronise our watches for the morning - we have a prompt 7am start!
So I will now sign off and see you all in 4 days time - when I will start to regale you with the crazy adventures of the Welsh pirates, the invasion of the Wild West, and lots of commandeering of characters, ships, boats, and booty along the way!
