Thurs 26th June
Gary heard Mickey calling and tried to wake us up. Who wants to go to MK EE. We were all too tired and so he turned over and went back to sleep. The first I knew it was 11.40am.The kids were fast asleep so I had shower and went for a cup of coffee. I rang Dave and thats when the time difference hit me. I had just got up and he was just in from work. .When I got back to the room the kids were just waking We went to food court and made our plan.. It was another hot day so we planned to go to Mk for 3pm parade but ended up staying in pool . We were enjoying playing with a ball too much to go to the parade. We stayed in the pool then the kids decided they would like some time in the arcade. Gary had a banana split and Julie had a hot fudge sundae from the food court then we went back in the pool. We have never relaxed so much in Disney although I got burnt, we really enjoyed ourselves. We took a vote on what we wanted to do on our last night. Fantasmic won .There was only one show on on the Friday night so I decided to book a Fantasmic dinner package. We didnt want to do Hollywood and Vine again as the kids hadnt really liked it so we decided to try Mama Melroses. I booked it from the hotel but the only time they had left was 4.30 but that wasnt a problem.
We started getting ready to go to Epcot. It took Julie over 1 hour to get herself ready. We were going for something to eat and to see reflections again. We had nothing booked and took a vote when we got there to see where we wanted to try. China won. There was a big queue at the main resteraunt but not much of a queue at the lotus café. The menu seemed ok so we tried there. It was very nice and it was cheap. When we came out we had a look round China and Julie got an umbrella with her name on. Gary thought this was a waste of money but what do boys know. We went into Mexico next and did the boat ride . When we came out it was so hot we found a bench and sat and people watched. Epcot was packed we had never seen so many people there before. We went to find a place for Reflections but everywhere was taken even our hedge. We saw some people standing on the walkway near the restrooms so we tried there. We had a great view of the globe and all the high fireworks but some of the fountains were obstructed by the trees. The best bit was that it was really easy to get out of Epcot from there and we were soon on our way home. We thought about going to play mini golf but Gary was too tired. Julie wanted to go in the pool but then decided to read her Harry Potter book. We had a drink in the room then went to bed. Gary set Mickey for 6am. He fancied an early morning swim.
