The Weirdest thing just happened....

my dailey sites just disappeared from my favorites menu!

They were there because I clicked on the DIS to get here and then opened another window to open Milesource and they were gone!

Anyone else ever expeirence disappearing folders in IE?

Yeah, that happened to me the other day too ... I don't know why either I have a setting on IE (and Windows too) that if you don't use a link often enough it will disappear after a week ... so only the links that you use frequently will show up. But then ... for some reason all my bookmarks disappeared ... even the active ones. They were still there when I went to organize favourites but I had to click on them individually to get them to reappear. I have no idea how it happened.

Wow, Mal! I'd be in an utter panic! Never happened to me. Hope you get it worked out. Have you updated IE lately? I've recently downloaded and upgraded to 6.0. Do you think that would help?

I have 6.0 wish that was it.

no it was really really strange one minute they were there the next poof gone.....

they were not in my organize folders either they were just vanished.

Something similiar happened to me, but with my email. I was looking at my mail, clicked mailbox, & like you said, it disappeared before my eyes. I lost all my folders content except my sent folder. Did everything to get it back, but no good. Did you find out what happened? If you do, please let us know. Diswife

diswife, your deal almost sounds like it was accidentally dragged into another folder. Or check your recycle bin.

Thank you, but tried that first. I could not believe what had happened in one click to the mail box, poof, everything gone. We did everything, contacted go.mail, talked to a programmer, bought softwear protection, even set back our pc to an earlier date. We still dont no what happened, & all info is still lost. Thanks, Diswife

I checked recycle bin and also reset computer to earlier date.

jgates I thought that also about dragging into another folder checked all the folders close by and nothing.

Wait as I was typing this I checked again I FOUND it it was in my coupons board folder!
