The Weekend Grind ~ 7/7 - 7/8/12

Well, it's going to be another record setting day in my neighborhood again!! (not intense sarcasm here!)...

Let's see today:
I still have kids waking up..
finish 2 loads of towels (thats it... not doing anything til it cools off more)
DS to finish sanding woodworking project (can't stain it til it cools off more)
DD to finish last project (she needs to input journaling and print pages)
boys to weigh rabbits today
once over house w/ everyone's help
laptop shopping for PJ
storage shopping for PJ


Not sure what tomorrow will hold.. we will see how today goes..

not a lot on my list for the weekend! might get some scrapping done, just haven't had the inspiration to work on it

today -
go see Brave
make list for paperclip swap
look at resorts for thanksgiving wdw trip
quick clean up of house
make bday card for brother

tomorrow-

bring stuff down to garage
dinner for my brother bday - either at my mom's or out somewhere she hasn't decided yet!

Once over house and finish a little laundry! It is too hot to do much, so I think we will let the kids have a movie weekend. Then mommy can scrap, and DH can annoy me with whatever sports he wants while I scrap (we share office ) We are suppose to go to a party tonight with fireworks, etc. It is more of an adult party (it is my sisters) so very few kids will be there. My sister likes to buy my kids sparklers and little smoke bombs, etc. I am thinking because of heat we may skip it and ask for a raincheck when we get to swim in her pool too

I need to work on my surprise swap stuff!

It is humid and gray! Starting to sprinkle.

I will be working on the last pages of the DC album and start making lists of what I need to pack and pick up for our trip to visit my parents in WV. We are all so excited to leave next weekend!

Afternoon - getting ready to scrap since DH is working


Took my 7 year old niece to see "Brave" on opening day when I was out in AZ. She & her Mom were pushing each others buttons that day, so I whisked her away for some one on one time. Lo and behold we get to the theater, the movie begins and soon see a typical mother/daughter argument - too funny. Great movie though

spending the weekend rebuilding a haywagon with hubby! great fun
he's off to get gas for the sawmill and four wheelers so I thought I'd check in

made it through most of my hour on the wii before he got back from his other errand this am. I'm not doing so great on the water cause my hands are full of tools. AND ITS HOTTTTTT & STEAMY YUCK YUCK

I decided that I wasn't in the mood to do DHS
so I got the AK swap & working on Dinoland
hope to have that whole section done today

Sister & her boys plus Mom & Dad came by - sister brought over my avon order - OMG I love the Mickey ring -- next week I have to buy 2 watches (2 for $40 otherwise they are $30 a piece) one Mickey the other one has Minnie on it -- Avon needs to stop having Mickey & Minnie they are making me broke

home from the movie....LOVED IT!
it did upset Megan a bit though, it touched a nerve of our issues we have...had a good little talk that we both need to be more patient and no matter what we love each other!

before we left for the movie my friend called to invite us over for pizza and then to go down to the beach for a walk and ice cream and enjoy the beautiful day!

Lisa sounds like the movie helped to bring about the talk. walk on the beach sounds wonderful!

wagon is almost done Tom and I got new floor braces, and the floor milled out and 1/2 on before I came in to cook dinner. He and Levi are finishing that now. Then we have 2 upright supports and their braces and resecrew in the side boards to the new up rights.

I'm off to the shower yuck heat blah I'll take that four letter word

not a fun afternoon here....Megan is sick, been running a fever of 101-103 all day! sick a couple of times and very achy...just got her down for the night....hopefully she will be able to sleep

not to much, very long night.

she woke up twice and tossed and turned most of it too.

her fever is right around 100 so getting better!
I got very little sleep, having a lazy morning, see a nap in our future!
