The Weekend Grind ~ 6/9 - 6/10/12

Mornin' ladies!!!

Hope all is well and everyone has fun plans for the weekend!!!

I accomplished so much yesterday and we had a blast spending time together as a family last night!

Today:

clean up house
make luggage tags
await email from hotel about surprise Surprise ready to go!!!
start pulling outfits out and making sure everything fits (swim suits especially)
town for luggage locks, couldn't find them yesterday
post office
soccer games for the little ones I used to babysit
kids to finish 4H exhibit projects (must be done by next Wed or no vacation!)

Posted the whole list yesterday cause I wasn't sure I'd find time this am to post.

Today is Happy Birthday to Levi he's 14
He has this am to do a few chores then can goof off for a bit. Got to figure out an early dinner for him and into the shower by 5. Date arrives here for pictures abt 6. And the General Lee is up on his lift for a safety once over. He leaves his house at 5 and should arrive her abt 6. No highway gears so all "back" roads down from fairlee. Levi is beside himself excited.

Got to get back to my cleaning up 1 week till the party too......

Drop revised line up off at studio. Ppl didn't bother to tell me that there was kids in the adult dance. Being used as props, however they still need a costume change. Made a mess!

Walmart- again for more goodies since I had 3 extra rsvp yesterday!

Finished my list for today! Just in time to get ready for the party, but it is free time after we get home as I told Josh he can cook for his friends!

Not sure what time the gang left last night, I went to bed at 12:30 and they were still going strong. Left DH is charge to make sure fire was out and everything cleaned up.

Today:

Christening at 1pm
iron the mountain(why do I leave it)

Happy Sunday everyone! We had a crazy windstorm last night. Woke up to the neighbor's trampoline in our backyard and one of our garbage cans (the big rolling kind) two blocks away! fortunately no real damage.

Spent part of the morning dealing with that. Now I'm heading out to church followed by getting ready for the church campout for teenage girls this week.

We have been on the run w/ events and just had time to check in!!

Finishing up the last of laundry and enjoy an evening of rest and relaxation with the family!

Met up with Lindababe and Lisa for breakfast this morning, along with Lisa's mom and Lisa's dh - had a most enjoyable breakfast.

Trip to Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty was phenomenal ! One of the best group trips I have ever taken.

we had a fun day at the bday pool party! lots of waterlogged kiddo's and I got to feed Keegan his bottle and he fell asleep in my arms
