The Weekend Grind- 5/19-20/2012

I hope everyone is ready to have a great weekend and finish all their projects.

Saturday:
bulletins
put away my new toys
decide on colors and themes for partner swap and get started
work on wedding album (I got all my titles cut and stickied while at my scrapbook expo crop the other night)

Sunday:
service
lunch out
groceries
dinner- ???- don't even know what we have yet
work more on album and swap

Julia shopping for yoga pants and shoes? ACM for embellies
Work on mats for partner swap, bag and tag AK swap for mailing
pay bills
Julia to school for play at 5, the rest of us at 7 for show.
dinner is sammies

Tomorrow:

Julia dance pics at 11 am
Julia to school for play at noon, the rest of us at 2
dinner, burgers (had hot dogs last night so need to cook burgers)

This weekend is very busy with:

Soccer tournament
cleaning
parties
cleaning
yardwork
finalizing books (so close to be doing and so happy)
and we are threwing in same major family fun time!!

Just back from shopping and we found shoes! They were on sale too! I will be working on adding the straps to the dress Monday.

Lisa, I will share pics if I can get some good ones. They aren't allowed to bring costumes home so I may sneek in a bit early to grab some.

Not much going on this weekend.

Took DD#1 to get her brows done. Also booked her an appt for her nails for her bday.

Got asked to open a store and teach classes for scrapbooking again Think I may have talked DBF into starting up an online store, then moving it into a store front if it does well. Special deals for all DISers!! But this will have to wait until after the move and all of that

responded to some emails about where people think they should be in the show. Sorry you are 1 person, 1 kid, 1 dance, I am not inconveniencing 2 other families with 2 kids and more dances for your little snowflake!!

so we had a very productive day getting lots done for willy wonda..over 2/3 of the list completed!

I have a couple small projects to finish up, couple of others working on stuff at home too! so sad though 150+ kids going to be in WW and only about 15 parents are helping over all the teacher is so very touched with everyones hard work and treated us to pizza!!\\

we definately can't take photos during the actual musical, but can sneak a few backstage!

megan's not feeling to good tonight, guess who came to "visit" today, crampy and very tired...,so no dinner out for us, but grandma is taking pity and bringing us mexican after her and zach finish dinner

The play was great! It was a twist on Snow White and the kids did such a good job with it! Most of the photos have other childrend but I was able to crop this one down to just Julia. She did fantastic, made sure her voice projected so everyone could hear her. I'm a proud mama right now.

She is one of a group of "Beauties" from the town. They do a little song about what the evil queen thinks beauty is, I was cracking up laughing so hard because the lyrics are so totally opposite of what Julia believes. I have to make a lyric of them to put on the page just to remind her of them later.

Another show at 2pm tomorrow.

No photos due to the copy right laws is what her teacher said so none during the actual show, no video either
she's feeling a bit better...yay for Midol!!

They are all grouped together while they are singing and they have the cutest gestures that go along with this. They flick their hair, bat their eyes, ect. It was just so funny to watch them.

The play does point out that true beauty is not what is on the outside but on the inside at the end when the wicked queen dies.
