The Weekend Grind 12/26 - 12/27

Good Morning!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

We did, enjoyed our time (for the most part) with the family. My mom is really pushing buttons was negative Nellie about so many things from the church was too crowded all the way to we all bought her too many presents! WTH!!! Then call me last night complaining about stuff my older brother did, told her if she has issues, to call and talk to him, which she won't!

Anyways back to fun stuff...went to see Star Wars and LOVED IT! now need to see the rest of them so Megan knows the whole story!

going to have a pretty low key weekend.

to do:
finish cleaning up kitchen - empty/reload dishwasher and handwash items that need it
put away Christmas bags and gift boxes for next year
get tables broken down and put away
couple loads of laundry
Watch HP marathon
Megan has a little bit of homework
do some on-line checking of a few colleges

Ours was definitely a wonderful set of memories- the girls were amazed by so much and it was so much fun!

Today:
have girls finish their chores for the week
allowances passed out
grocery store- job ap for B and pick up a couple of things
clean kitchen- done
dinner- stuffed peppers
put away Christmas gifts
make list of thank yous to write
pay some bills with checks

Sorry I am late to the party ran a few errands before all the crazy people come out to shop! LOL!

Lisa - sorry to hear Mom was a negative Nellie.. I didn't even hear from my sister. She didn't even give my kids gifts but posted all about giving to her friends' kids.. My kids were really hurt but as I told them they are all old enough to make their decisions on how they want to handle the situation. Their decision will remain in effect until they decide differently. (I don't look for things to change in their decision for many many moons)

Rebecca -- so glad to hear your had a wonderful first Christmas as a family!!!

Today's agenda:

watch Pinstripe bowl.. My alma mater vs C's favorite team.. Should be fun tonight!
finish last of laundry
box up 2015 paperwork/pull tax documents
pay bill
once over house
await mailman to deliver tickets!!

scrap day
