In some ways, this part of the vacation, if you can call it that, is just as exciting and fun as the actual trip. The anticipation, knowing that you have a full 5 or 7 or 10 days in WDW is an exhilarating and joyous feeling. As soon as you arrive you can't help but think about the end of your vacation, so the anticipation is just awesome

I thought you were going to say..."the best things come to those who wait." ;)

Have a great trip!

DisneyAddict_M- ooh, I like that one. The best things do come to those who wait.

And even though its a slow moving wait, supamaki, i agree with you. The anticipation of the trip is pretty fun!!

Thanks all!

Take it from someone who just got back a few weeks ago....I'd rather be in your shoes!!! I know at the point you are, I was stressing, shopping for last minute items, and on the DIS non-stop (mostly watching my counter go down ! ;) ) but it goes fast, so enjoy it as much as you can!!!

I know the feeling...I'm experiencing it right now...this is the longest week of my life. It's going so sllllooooooooowwwwww! Isn't it amazing? The week leading up to vacation goes extremely slow, then the vacation flies by. Before you know it, you're back home wondering "What just happened?".

Whenever I'm looking forward to something (like a trip, or moving into a new house), I always put off some of the work involved so it will make the last week pass more quickly.

Then I actually get into the last week, and I freak out because I have so much left to do! :earseek:

Deep down, I don't think I believe I'm really going to WDW! :bounce:

Yipee.....Yipee...............

:jumping1: :jumping1:

Finally learned how to post a pic...wow!!

Now...to make it smaller...Hmmmmmm

I do the same thing. I think the adreneline hits the last few days before I leave. Before that it's a lot of sitting around waiting for that last week. ;)

GREAT PICTURE senecabeach!!!! That REALLY makes me want these last 3 weeks to fly. My mom hasnt seen Wishes yet!!!! I cant wait to watch it with her! :)

Have a great trip!!!

:teeth: :wave2:

Now that is torture. I am all anticipated out and it is almost, well, painful. I just want to be there. NOW!

I'm glad that this trip, we are leaving on a Wednesday morning. That means I only have to suffer through 2 work days before we go.::yes::

The weekend before will be really hectic with laundry and packing, which I will have to do since I will be at work the day before we go.

For me, getting to single digits is the torturous part. I'll be happy this weekend when I officially start my packing routine by taking out my suitcases.:teeth:

I will also occupy myself by FINISHING my Christmas shopping before we go...stress!!!

Enjoy the anticipation!

:wave2:

We leave on a Wednesday at around noon too... And I found out I have to make a business trip to San Diego the Sunday and Monday before! I fly back from San Diego Monday night at around midnight! :earseek:

Well, I guess it will make the time before the trip pass more quickly, at least!

Yes you do have a funny feeling anticipating your trip to WDW, but please, don't waste the last two weeks or last week. Continue doing enjoyable, interesting, or even necessary things or tasks.

When you get older you will wonder where all the time went and think about all the days you wasted and could have done something good or learned something interesting.
