has anyone ever bought their wedding dress from online? Never had tried it on previously, and bought it online? I see a dress that I really like, but im so nervous to buy it bc I have never tried it on!:sad2:

I purchased mine online from RKbridal, without ever having seen the dress in person or tried it on (obviously, if I hadn't seen it in person. Anyway.)

It is risky, but if you're going to do it, I'd a) make sure the place is reputable. Do your research. And b) find dresses with the same sillhouette or similar details and try them on. Then you'll have some idea of how your dress will look on you.

For example, I found one that was by the same designer and same sillhouette but different fabric (tafetta & lace v. satin) and tried it on and loved it. So I knew the one I chose to order online would look good on me.

HTH! :goodvibes

and btw- I was so nervous, I didn't tell anyone what dress I ordered. I didn't want to listen to 8 weeks of them being nervous FOR me. All my friends and co-workers thought I'd ordered the one I'd tried on and that they had seen in pictures. It wasn't until I had the dress, knew I loved it and they saw me try it on for the first time that they found out.

I considered it, loved the one I found online, but I decided to go and try a few on just to be sure. I tried a few on like the one I had found online, and they were awful! Didn't look good at all - even though I have always preferred haltar over strapless....I ended up finding a strapless dress that looked NOTHING like the ones I loved online. I would at the very least go out and try on some dresses just to see how they feel when you get them on...

you definitely have a good point, sometimes we think we know what we like and are surprised. Ill def take the advice of trying on similar styles. thank you. i was so tempted to just by it (i still am) but the least I can do is go and try similar styles to it. :) My mom was like "buy it, you like it" and I got so nervous! :rotfl:
