So...once again, I was caught right in the rain/snow belt of this latest storm. Rain being the operative word!!!!

There are the makings of a small lake in my front yard. Complete with waves and whitecaps (it is winnnnndddddyyyyyyy). There is a small stream going across my driveway (from the aforementioned lake ;) ). And I just set the pump up outside the back door to the cellar/laundry room. There was about 5" of water there getting ready to come in the house.

Sheesh. I know you all out in Worcester County, central Mass got slammed and I hope you are all digging out OK.

Everyone take it easy shoveling, OK? Lots of cocoa breaks.

WOW!!! that's an ocean!!!

I agree...take care all you shovellers!!!

Hey Deb......22 days!!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

LOL! That's a lot of rain Deb!!! *****Jodie tosses Deb a canoe and a paddle and a wish for sunny skies!!!****

Just think......... you have WATERFRONT PROPERTY now. :)

I'll trade ya. Wanna come help shovel?

DH & the boys are out there now. I can see them outside as I sit here with the heat cranking and my space heater on my feet. Im so mean, arent I?

Seems to be we are in the worst area. On the news Im hearing that up north a little, like in Andover, its the light powdery snow and down south a little, near Medford its mostly rain. We got a mix of the 2(although you would never know it, it looks pretty white to me out there) and got the wicked heavy stuff. DH said this was the worst snow hes had to shovel since we have lived here, which is almost 4 years. Our neighbor is plowing our street and hes had to make a few attempts in some places its so bad. Seems like we got about 10 inches and its still snowing.

The rain Deb mentioned turned to snow here at about 11am this morning! I posted earlier this morning about waking up to rain, but its snowing now and everything is white again. Like Deb said, we live right on the "belt" where we can end up with either weather forecast hitting us. It's always a surprise

I will take my 110 to 123 summer days over all that snow, sleet and rain anytime. Except we could use the rain, last year we got 2.some inches total, in Yuma they got .003 for the whole year. Yikes, it is dry here.

Well thanks all you warm weather gloaters  ;)

It is getting cold cold cold now, and all the water is starting to freeze up. We did get the dusting that Seaspray talked about, and it is pretty, but it's gonna be a mess out there later.

Hi deb!

We got so much snow I had to use the snowblower on the pool. There must have been 2ft of snow on the cover.

Wow Kev.

We will be canoing on the lake tomorrow ;) Either that or ice skating.

Well Deb, no that you are on a lake your property value has skyrocketed. Can I send my DH by to do a little ice fishing?;)

Marsha that's pretty cold for Arizona. I'll bet everyone was wearing their winter coat this morning.

Deb, I hope nothing gets flooded at your house.

It's getting real icey here South of Boston, but thank God we didn't get all the snow the pooor people north of Boston got. take it easy shoveling :D

At 52 degrees here today, it was pretty chilly for us. But I insisted on opening all the windows and sliders to "air out" the house. The house got down to 67. Good for South Florida. Yes, this is why I moved here from NJ! :teeth:
