The Weather Jinx strikes again!

I am known to my family and friends as the weather jinx. It we are having a dry summer, I head out tent camping and sure enough, it will rain, the drought will be broken, and my mission is completed.

Well, I am flying to Orlando on Tuesday Jan 27. I told people three months ago to expect a major blizzard on Jan 27....and lo and behold, my prediction has come true! I am packing today and will include a "stranded in the airport" survival pak.

I apologize to everyone out there who is flying on Tuesday around the East Coast. Luckily I am not checking in at WDW until Feb 1 (the only day it is scheduled to rain during that week, btw).

I wonder what will be happening on Feb 4 - the day I fly home? Keep an eye out !!!!!

Accuweather has been changing about every day. Now, the only day that shows rain is our last night 2/5 and 2/6. But, it was showing rain other days during our stay at one time or another. Which weather are you watching?

That storm up here in the northeast, is supposed to drop 3 to 9 inches of snow up here. I am hoping it is all melted my the time I leave for Florida on Friday!

I know some prople who would pay dearly to have you come visit them at certain times if you can bring the rain with you--in fact Disney might consider paying you to stay away.

OK, so that last part is a bad idea.

Pig Pen, I live in Southern Maine. We fly Wed from Manchester N.H. I am only seeing "snow showers" Nothing big. Where are you seeing a "storm"

they are predicting a major snowstorm early Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon here in western Ma.

is my DSIL

My folks take us (curreantly there is 20 of us!!!)

on a family trip. We have been on 5 trips so far and on every one of them whoever flies with my DSIL gets stranded somewhere.

(sometimes we don't all fly together since some of us extend our trip either go first and meet up later or stay longer)

last time we went to Kauia Hawaii we all flew together and were stranded in LA airport for 5 HOURS!!!!!
that put us in Hawaii at 3;30 AM

nothing was moving at that time!!! the whole island was dark and quite it was hard finding our hotel!!!

My DSIL said our Christmas gift to everyone is that no one has to fly with her as they are leaving a days after us!!!

She has a great sense of humor about it!!!
