The "We have one whole year to wait" Now a Trip Report

Glad Fly Lady was able to help you get a new bathroom.:thumbsup2
Pics were great.
We have been busy finishing our basement.
I'll be posting pics on my PTR in a few weeks.
Still anxiously waiting to call for ADR's.

Laura,

Started reading your trip report today!

I have to confess, I had to skip ahead a little to see when the baby was born. Can I just say, I have a tear in my eye when I seen your happy family.
Congratulations!

Now, I have some catching up to do.

 Welcome to my little trip report AlohaAnnie! And thank you very much!! We just got back from the 1 month check up, and Ephraim is officially 12 lbs! And the 2 others officially have Bronchitis:sad2:

But most of all I want all of you to join in our celebration!! :cheer2: WE ARE OFFICIALLY CREDIT CARD DEBT FREE!!!:cheer2:

And so now, tonight, after we put the children to bed WE'RE BOOKING OUR VERY FIRST FAMILY VACATION AT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

I am so excited I could jump up and down and giggle! :dance3: but I won't, lest my son get suspicious - or think I've gone mad. I'll be sure to take pics of the big moment! The official booking!!!!:woohoo:

And I need to change around my itenerary just abit....My son has been doing some reading. He discovered the paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer Island. He really wants to do this......So now if you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it, because once I have it in my head how it will go, that's it. I have trouble thinking of anything other than that. Actually - NAthaniel's middle name my cousin picked out, because once I thought of the middle name Daniel, after Ken's dad, nothing else seemed to fit. But Ken refused to have the names rhyme, he thought he might get beat up on the playground or something. I thought Nathaniel Daniel had a nice ring to it!:confused3 My cousin Beans (short for Jilly Beans) convinced us Jacob fit better.

We're officially booked!!:cool1:
We booked the Wilderness Lodge for 10 days, 9 nights from September 16th until the 25th! We have a woods view, park hopper - no water parks. I can feel the pixie dust flying already!!pixiedust: Disney is only 193 days away!

I just saw that they are adding the halloween party (supposedly) not only on Fridays, but on Tuesdays too!!! Way ta go Disney and mess up my itinerary!:headache: I can't go visit MK if there's a halloween pary going on!

My unofficial and yet determined dates are the 18th to the 28th. I am not sure yet though if we will be staying on grounds or at the same house we rented last year. Free dining will be the clincher for us.

It seems like so many people are going in September! I'm really hoping for free dining! But it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Ok - so after a good nights sleep, I think what we're going to do is this. We're still going to go to MK the first day, but instead of going to LTT for dinner, we're going to Kona. That way we've got time in the park before MNSSHP starts, and then when the crowds start rolling in, we can head over for a 7:00 dinner. We'll have LTT the next night we're in MK(that Thursday I believe). So we won't have a character meal to start off with, but that's Ok. This works out well, because I was looking at the other MK day thinking I wanted a real dinner that day. And I really wanted to try Kona for Dinner too. So all is well, and I am no longer annoyed with Disney for throwing in an extra MNSSHP day.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
So glad it's booked.
Good idea about your plan.
Halloween party doesn't start until night time.

Goodness gracious - this has been quite the week. First my 2 oldest came down with Bronchitis, followed shortly there after by the flu. Ephraim came down with RSV - thankfully we didn't need a trip to the hospital, just the nebulizer at home. And if RSV wasn't bad enough for the little guy, he came down with a mystery virus that has covered him in spots! So we've been traveling to the Dr's everyday so they can keep an eye on Ephraim's breathing, and today we bring in all 3 for a recheck and Nathaniel's bronchitis isn't better - it's worse. So they're switching the meds. So it's back to the Doctors on Monday we go! Sigh! AND the bathoom is taking much longer than anticipated on top of that, so we've been trecking across the snow to our neighbors to shower up until yesterday, when at last the shower was finished. I'm so glad this week is over!!!
But while I've been bound to the house with sick kids, I've been surfing the boards, and came across someone who made journals for her kids. They looked so good - like she bought them! So she inspired me to do the same - so that's what I've been doing all week. As soon as I finish them, I'll post them. I must say, I'm quite proud of myself. I'm not generally that talented, but these look great. If I can figure out how to do it, I'll post what I have already. Feel free to us them if you can figure out how to print them or whatever you plan on doing with them. The tread that I got the journal ideas from was here:wizard::
