The "We have one whole year to wait" Now a Trip Report

Thank you for the suggestios about Garden Grill. I had heard that it wasn't that great, but Chip and Dale are Nathaniel's FAVORITE. So if I can't get Chef Mickey's, or another reservation, I might go with this since you said it was good. I remember the menu appealed to us, but then I read all the negative reviews.

And thank you for the prayers! Dr. is a bit nervous because he hasn't engaged yet. He's apparantly "slightly crooked". So he could go into place if my water breaks, or he could do a 180 (this is what I did to my mother). I'm just trying to keep anxious thoughts at bay and rely on Jesus! Hopefully, all will go well as it did with the other births! Will post pictures of Mr. Ephraim as soon as he arrives! (well, shortly there after anyway!)

Thought that since I now know how to post pictures, I'd post a blast from my past - about 15 years ago, my 1st trip to disney. Don't you just love the outfit?

Yes, love the outfit and the expression on your face.:rotfl:
Sending more prayers your way. Can't wait to see pics.
Last time we were at The Garden Grill, Dale "kidnapped" my 15 year old DD. It was great. We have the whole thing on video.Mickey made him bring her back. Then he got in trouble for throwing candy at the customers. They really do a great job at being mischievous. :lmao:

hmmmm......seriously thinking about going to Garden Grill instead of Chef Mickey's......But does garden grill do breakfast? If not, maybe then it'll be the number 2 choice.

And completly off topic, but thank you again for the fly lady info you gave on your pre trip report! Today my bathroom started to become decluttered! AND I found a leak in the toilet I wouldn't have found because I can't really get down around the toilet right now(you need to manouver -I know spelled wrong! - around the toilet and under the shelving unit aat the same time, which just doesn't work with the huge belly.) Anyway while sitting there rearranging my baskets of stuff, I'm hearing a steady drip drip drip. I follow the sound, and realize there is a huge puddle under the shelving unit and behind the toilet!!! No idea how long that's been going on at all, since it's all been dripping down into the wood area (tiny area has no linoleum behind the toilet), so of course the wood has been soaking it up. So not only am I getting some direction in cleaning/decluttering, but I also found something that had the potential to do some major damage (if it hasn't already....let's hope not!)

Enjoying your pre trippie. So glad things seem to be really
going your way in life. You really deserve this disney trip.
Let us know when the stork arrives!:)

We loved Donald's Breakfastosaurus at Animal Kingdom and Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.

No worries about doing a "year in advance" pre-trip... I did the same thing. I think that there is a link at the beginnning of my first trip report (see my signature for that link) that leads to the pre-trip report. It pre-dates this Pre-trip board. It is nice that they have this Pre-trip board now.

Anyway, your family is lovely. I am sure that you will have a great trip, and I know that you will have a blast planning it. Enjoy!

We are confirmed Disney-freaks now, the whole family.

Read your last post a while back but realized I never posted back. Glad Fly Lady is helping. I am not perfect at staying on top of everything but her methods help me stay focused.

I'm working more on my ADR's. Still not sure on all the places we want to eat at. My goal is to have it all figured out by mid Feb. because we can call in March. Remember, 180 days out from your first day is when we can call. I'm marking it on my calendar so I won't forget.:thumbsup2

So I was in labor for 4 days (no I'm not joking - labor stalled out at 10 minutes apart and stayed that way for a few days) but once things started to progress on Saturday morning, things happened very quickly and we welcomed our 8lb 14oz Ephraim Levi into our lives! :woohoo:

Here are a few photos!

Thank you everyone!! We are all totally in love with this little (or not so little) one!! He is a cutie!! And now that this little bundle of joy has arrived, we're waiting for our next bundle of joy.....OUR TAX RETURN!!:cool1: Disney here we come!

i just found your trippie and I am so excited about your son! Congratulations!
Those cheeks, just perfect for pinching!

I'm sure your hands are full, but I can't wait for you to get back to planning....we are going in sept too and I haven't a cluse what to do first.

We stayed at WL on our honeymoon in 95, it was the best to ride that boat everywhere. Loved it! Our room had a view of the otter pond, nice and quiet.

Congratulations on your new little boy! I've enjoyed reading your pre-trip report today, and look forward to reading more about your plans.

hey! thanks everyone! More obsessing was on hold while the family came to visit and meet the new grandson/nephew.

A few days ago, Ken and I were talking in the kitchen about going to a friends graduation from bootcamp. I asked when the graduation was, and with our son RIGHT BEHIND HIM, my husband answers "After disney." I don't even look up from what I'm doing, lest Nathaniel see my "What are you DOING???" face, and I say "oh, my.....(thinking of something to say)....that'll be a long time away then." and what does my husband say but "What do you mean, we're going in september?" :scared1: At this point he gets the "WHAT ARE YOU DOING????????" face. First he gives me the "I don't understand what the face is for look. then he makes a face much like this - :scared: and I peer around Ken to where Nathaniel is standing, and I'm assuming listening in on the conversation, and THANKFULLY, he had wandered quietly out of the room without us knowing AND without hearing!!!:woohoo: and the secret is still safe!! :woohoo: Ken also almost blew it earlier in the day when Nathaniel showed him a picture of a blizzard beach ride, and asked if Ken would like to ride it. Ken replied "well, yeah, but we're not........yes, I'd love too." Ken told me later he almost told him we weren't going to the water parks. I thought I was going to be the one having trouble keeping my mouth shut!!! :rotfl: Thankfully, I don't think that the kids would ever suspect that we would give them a trip ti Disney World for their birthdays!

I thought for sure that it would be ME who blows it!!!!@ I can't keep a secret for anything! I'm worse than the kids are at Christmas time. It's 8am before the kids woke up, and here I am at 6:00 am, pacing before the Christmas tree wondering when I can open my presents, and trying to contain myself from running into their rooms and yelling IT"S CHIRSTMASSSSSS WAKE UPPPPPP.
