Has anyone been to The Wave in the Contemporary yet? Thinking about ADR's for next Spring ( yeah....i know way to early, especially with the changes).

ANYWAY....looking for something to hop from MK for dinner. Did Chef Mickey's last time around, kids loved it, DH and I thought it was fine. Looking for something maybe non character ( kids will be 14, 10, 8 and 6).

I love that hotel, stayed there when the park opened in 1971 so always looking for an opportunity to do something new there.

We ate there last week, the food was really good, our waiter was great...but the whole meal took 2 HOURS...and we didn't even order appitizers. Everything flowed until we ordered dessert...then it took over 45 minutes...JUST for desert. The waiter appologized and said the chef got backed up in the kitchen with dessert orders coming in all at the same time and something about each dessert needing to be individually prepared...this is something I would hope they work out, otherwise we enjoyed The Wave and would give it a try again.

We're eating there next Wednesday evening, I'm really looking forward to it. I love trying new Disney restaurants and really hope it's good. I'll report back. :)

We were there last week and had a really good experience. Not as good as California Grill, but still very enjoyable. My pork tenderloin was wonderful and the desserts are delish!

I'm happy to hear this...after I read this thread earlier I started poking around the web looking for other reviews. I was less than thrilled with most of the ones I read and am kind of second guessing myself. Ugh.
