The Wave?

My guidebook says there is a new restaurant called The Wave at Contemporary that should open the first part of 2008. Is this the one replacing the Concourse Steakhouse? Is it open yet?

yes it's the one replacing Concourse Steakhouse (though CS is still open until May), but no it's not open yet. Last I heard this place was opening in June.

Im glad I read this post because we are big time lovers of the Councourse Steak House for breakfast...they make delicious chocolate banana waffles

On the Contemporary FAQ thread over on the Resort board, someone posted that they called today for their ADR's in May and they were told the Concourse Steakhouse is closing on May 31st. I guess this means it will be closing on June 1st, so hopefully the Wave will open around that time frame.

Hmmmm...interesting. I like the sounds of that!

Every year for our May trip, we always start off our vacation with lunch or dinner at the Concourse Steakhouse (We always arrive on the Sunday of Mother's Day) So, of course I was a bit bummed when we read that the last day for the steakhouse was May 10 (we arrive May 11)

I would love to have one last meal before it closes!!!! It is one of my fav restaurants!!!

I think we might have to call tomorrow and see if we can book a lunch!!! When we made our ADR's a couple of months ago, we didn't even bother trying to make an ADR since we thought the Steakhouse would have been closed.
Oh I am excited...how will I ever fall asleep now after reading this!!!
