The Wave or Grand Floridian for dinner?

Has anyone tried these for dinner? What are your thoughts...

Just wanted to chime in that there is no one restaurant named "Grand Floridian."

There are a number of restaurants located on the Grand Floridian Resort property: 1900 Park Fare, Citricos , Grand Floridian Cafe, Narcoossee's, and Victoria and Alberts.

We ate at The Wave in February and really enjoyed it. The grilled beef tenderloin was really good. We also enjoyed the trio desserts. They even let me have the milkshake as my drink on the regular dining plan.

We plan to eat there again.

We have done both and love both but the Wave is the winner

we've only done the breakfast @ 1900 park fare. we loved our dinner @ the wave. we went last dec. and i had the seafood/pasta and my dh had the steak and we loved it! my dd got a vanilla milkshake and she loved it so much she asked the waitress what was in it and it was the condensed milk that was so good!! we've done narcoossees @ the GF and we loved it too!
good luck,

We really liked both places for dinner...and both places have great dessert options too if you're on the DDP. We had great steaks at both places. Both have nice ambiance, and though they are family restaurants, not nearly as "busy/noisy" as the buffets or character restaurants. Kind of a more adult atmosphere at both. I would have a hard time saying one or the other (I'd do both!) but if I absolutely had to choose, I'd say the Wave.

At The Wave, the desserts come in trios, so you get 3 completely different tastes in one dessert. For a pre-dinner cocktail, there's a fusion cocktail that's quite good (or a beer flight is fun if you're a beer drinker.) And if you have a big appetite, you can get the milkshake as your dining plan beverage

At the Grand Floridian Cafe (assuming that's what you meant) they will let the two of you order a dessert sampler platter to split that is awesome. They have an outstanding blackberry mojito on the cocktail menu...wonderful drink!

We had dinner at both and prefered the Grand Floridain Cafe. Delicious lemon cheesecake for dessert. My son loved the chocolate fondue for dessert. Great meal.

I'd say the Wave....awesome "trio" desserts.....and the steak was great too! if you absolutely want to do a GF dinner, then try lunch at the Wave since they have the same desserts available at lunch too!

We LOVE the wave, our best meal ever at WDW. We are headed back next month . It has a very nice atmosphere and service was exceptional.

I would pick the Wave over GFC any day!

The Wave, it is my favorite at WDW. I have been there a couple times and have had wonderful food both times. It is the only restaurant my teenage nephew has requested to go back to (he has already asked to go to it when we go in October! )
