I haven't see many reviews and we have an ADR there for dinner in June. Does anyone have any insight?

I think the wave is one of wdw's best kept secrets. We make sure to eat there at least once every trip

We tried this place last october for the first time and we loved it. Good food, service and a nice atmosphere. We tried one of the white and one of the red wine flights which were excellent.

We are looking forward to going back this year.

I have always wanted to try The Wave but i have been too scared to. I loved Concourse Steakhouse and was sad to see it basically replaced by The Wave. The dinner menu seems like the food is very fancy and well, for lack of better words.....weird. I mean that in a purely fancy way of course. ;) We are boring eaters... just meat and potato kind of people. I really want to give this place a chance. Do you think "boring eaters" would like the food?

We had a really good meal there in August 2011. The atmosphere is a bit different with no windows but the food was great!

I have eaten there three times and we all enjoyed it. Last time we ate there twice.

I just posted a review on The Wave yesterday. If you're interested, follow the link in my signature to my dining report in progress from August 2011. The Wave review is on page 7.

We enjoyed it and thought it was worth trying, but we won't be rushing back. I would prefer either Kona Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe for a better atmosphere and food and price at around the same level.

All of the food was pretty simple but with a bit of a twist, for example the chimichurri on the flat iron steak or the blue cheese on the filet. I'm sure you could request those items on the side, so you could taste them to see if you wanted to add them, or just leave your food more plain. The menu has changed since my review, I understand, so check out All Ears for an up-to-date menu. Service was outstanding, amongst the best we have experienced at WDW. It wouldn't be a reason to choose to dine there for us, but definitely elevated our experience.
