Just wondering if anyone has eaten there for dinner and what their opinions were. We are to eat there in three weeks time.

Thanks!

We've eaten at the Wave a few times and liked it each time! The food is good and the atmosphere is like the rest of the Contemporary. The menu is unique in that it is organic and sustainable. The soups were great!

Hope you enjoy!

Ate there 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed it. It was a nice break form the parks. Nice to have a meal not bases for the kids. Though the kids really enjoyed it too and asked to go back!!!:thumbsup2

Had lunch there a week ago and enjoyed it.
Ask for Tim as a server! he is old-school Disney service!

Get the trio that has the cheesecake for dessert. I got a different dessert because the cheesecake had 2 other things with passionfruit and I don't like passionfruit.
My Dad got the cheesecake one and it was SOOOO GOOD.
I told Tim he was right about the cheesecake being great and he brought out a trio of just cheesecake for free.
RICH stuff.

My DH and I ate at The Wave four weeks ago and LOVED it!! It will be a "must" on our return trip. Wonderful food, lovely contemporary atmosphere, excellent service...it was a favorite. He reported his steak was excellent, and my shrimp pasta was beyond great. The smoothies and Trio dessert book-ended the meal perferctly.

GO -- you'll love it!

We ate there in february. The food and service were pretty good, but the restaurant was very loud.

We ate there in July and it is our new favorite. We arrived early and were seated because the restaurant was almost empty (6pm on a Sunday night). It was a very relaxing dinner. I had the flank steak and DH had the fish of the day. Both were delicious. Both kids had the pasta with marinara and it was quite good too. We loved the dessert trios. I also had a chocolate martini that was quite yummy. This is a definate must do again on our list.

We ate there in Feb and really enjoyed it. The food was incredible; I had the sustainable daily fish - it was wonderful.
They let you use a smoothie as a drink choice on the DDP.
The atmosphere is warm, modern and relaxed. I thought it was very adult although there were plenty of kids there who seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I say go for it, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks guys!!! I'm uber excited to try it now!! Only 3 weeks to the day away!!

We ate there in March and Aug for dinner and both times the food, service and atmosphere was fantastic...would not hesitate to go back there again

Ate there last week and loved it! My niece had the crab cake app and that was very good...I had the tuna (never had tuna in my life and I loved it!) For our mains we both had the filet and it was soooooooooooo good! Didn't even need a knife! The only thing I would ask for different...I guess it used to be served with potatoes...at this time it was served with a white bean mash...which sounded okay---I like white beans but ugh no! It had a weird spice like ginger in it and was not so good.
Will definitely return! :thumbsup2
