Hey there, DISers,

You may have heard Kevin mention this Disneyland 55th Anniversary Celebration Weekend at The Walt Disney Family Museum on a recent podcast and checked the site only to find out tickets were sold out to some of the events.

Well, "due to guest demand", the museum is moving this event to a larger venue in their other building behind the museum and more tickets will become available. Tickets will go on sale to members again beginning June 8. Unsold tickets will then go on sale to the public, but that date hasn't been disclosed to the members. I bet it'll be pretty quick.

If you are going on the Backstage Magic ABD trip with Pete and Walter, this would be a perfect pre-trip weekend experience.

So, if you definitely want to get tickets, become a museum member and purchase them on June 8. Otherwise, keep an eye on the site and watch for the links to become available to the public. You won't regret it.

If you do attend, please keep an eye out for me and Carol (Disney Enabler). We'll be there with some members of our California Capital NFFC Disneyana Fan Club chapter and will be in our official shirts (red polo or blue denim with the chapter logo). We would really enjoy seeing you.

Thanks for posting the museum events, Merry Mousemaker. I volunteer there and get the mailers, etc., but still can't keep up with everything.

Hi Miss SD,

If you are volunteering at the museum and see us in our shirts, please come up and say hello. It'll be great to finally meet another DISer at the museum!

I'm glad you're find the museum posts helpful. I'll have the August/September events up shortly. There's some cool things happening!

I'll be sure to say hello if I see you at the museum. I'm a little disappointed that I'll miss the Disneyland anniversary events there. But I'll be back home in San Diego visiting relatives (and Disneyland) so I shouldn't complain.
