The Walking Dead on AMC

The car seat could have been facing away with a walker crouched over it, a walker dragging the cars seat or even Beth rocking back and forth near the car seat to show death. The producers wouldn't have to show baby body parts.

Rick crying just means HE believes it. She's not dead.

And the belt buckle was undone on the car seat. A walker wouldn't have been able to do that. Someone had to have taken her out of the seat at some point.

I was reading a message board. Someone mentioned that Tyrse was holding something when he was shown running away when the walkway was bombed. He was in the area the kids were in, because Lizzy saved his life. Afterwards, we saw Michonne stab the Governor. Then we see a quick shot of the exploding walk way and Tyrese was running underneath, it looked like he was holding something. Was it Judith? If you're able, go back and watch. I just did. It hard to tell, but it does look like he has something in his arms.

I wish I had DVR so badly!!!

I saw that too and said the same thing.

Oooh, interesting, I am going to go back and look at that. You would think Rick or Carl might have seen that. But then again, Rick is almost dead, and after what they just went through (again) I can see not seeing things logically.

That is horrible!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

I am seriously wondering if they are going to kill Rick in the first new episode in Feb.

Someone posted here, and I read it somewhere else also, that Andrew Lincoln (who plays Rick) was shocked when he got the script for ep. 9 (the next episode after the break.) He even called other cast members to make sure he understood it. Then, in one of the previews for next season, Carl is shaking Rick and yelling, "Wake Up!" Could they really kill off Rick? I can't imagine they would do that, but who knows?

He's probably got some brain bleeding. I hope that isn't true..

Here's a screenshot I took of Tyrese running. It does look like he's holding something, but it could just be his rifle.

I posted about that interview. Something shocking is supposed to happen in the ninth episode, but now many fans wonder if Andrew Lincoln misspoke and meant the eighth episode. I suppose the shocking bit would be Hershel's beheading.

However, I don't think he misspoke, and I think the shocking thing that will happen will be child-on-child murder. I believe the group will meet up somewhere and it'll be found out that Lizzie killed the sick. After they isolate her to determine what to do with her, Carl will pay her a visit and put a bullet in her head. (A similar storyline occurred in the comic.)

THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS! It does look like he's holding something along with his gun, something light colored small enough to be a childs arm???

so a WOW for last nights episode...and "Talking Dead" after wards...

so my take on everything...I think Lizzy is a psychopath...and killed the 2 people and Carol is covering up and she burned the bodies after finding what Lizzy had done...and felling responsible because she has been teaching them how to use knives and protect themselves...also feeding the walkers the rats because after all they are people to :goodvibes

I think that Judith is alive...however maybe not if the writers feel that it is one thing raising the baby in the Prison but having her tag along on the road not so much since food and everything will be so much harder to come by to feed a baby. Also all the blood in the car seat could have just been blood from someone else after all there was a lot of it flying around....

I wish we saw the Gov get a bit out of him and turn into a walker...would serve him right. He got away to easy getting shot in the head after being stabbed.

Watching the Talking Dead last night the actor who played Hershel was very sad to be leaving the show...he was surprised that they were killing him off...so as for Rick who knows what is in the writers head....

I have to add that I am so glad that they are out of the prison...it was starting to get old just like when they were at the farm house....I like that they are separated but don't think it will take ling before they start to come together...I also think that Carol will be the groups savior...:goodvibes

I just re-watched the episode and edited my 9:30am post...here's basically what I came up with:

Glen is on the bus.

Sasha, Maggie, Bob, Michone, Tyrese and the 4 kids were all still fighting when the bus left. They are on foot. Any of them may have grabbed up Judith. Sasha, Bob and Maggie are together and Tyrese ran after 2 of the kids...the other 2 kids ran off instead of fighting. Michone is on her own somewhere?????

Rick and Carl walked off into the woods...so they are on foot. They think Judith is dead.

Lily and Tara are still alive. Lily is on foot but not sure where Tara is. Tara gave up right before the bus took off, is she on the bus?

Daryl and Beth are alive and on foot. They don't have Judith.

Where is Judith? Could Lily have gotten her out of the carseat (she was all bloody too) and put her somewhere before she shot the Gov? Tara could have grabbed her but she's not bloody.

My DS15 just watched Tyrese running away. My boy pointed out that his gun was strapped to his back. Looks like he was holding something across his chest. Hopefully it was Judith.

I am also thinking Tyrese has Judith w/the kids. Daryl & Beth are together & I thought maybe they found her. I do not believe she is dead though.
Another thought I had is that the 2 sisters (Tara & Lily) beg Michonne if they can tag along w/her saying they didn't agree w/the Gov & lost Megan b/c of it.
B/c of Daryl saying that it doesn't sound like Carol, I also think that was a clue into her not doing the killing. I do hope one of the groups does find her.
I am going to go watch Talking Dead now.

Just saw this;
The show will return for the second half of its fourth season at 9PM on Sunday, February 9

Here's the whole article.

The mid-season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead capped the first half of season four and posted gains of 29% over the first half of season 3, running against NFL football, broadcast sweeps and high-profile special events. Last night’s explosive episode delivered 12.1 million viewers and 7.7 million adults 18-49. The show will return for the second half of its fourth season at 9PM on Sunday, February 9, followed by a new episode of Talking Dead at 10PM. Comic Book Men, which has been delivering 1 million viewers at midnight consistently across the first half of its third season, will also return to AMC on Sunday, February 9.

The Walking Dead continues to be the #1 show on all of television among the coveted 18-49 demographic and remains the highest-rated series in the history of cable television. The first eight episodes of its fourth season delivered an average of 13 million viewers and 8.4 million adults 18-49.

“We couldn’t be happier that audiences are continuing to respond in ever-larger numbers to the outstanding work of this amazingly talented team,” said Charlie Collier, AMC’s president. “We’re only at the mid-point of this fourth season, but I know I speak for the entire cast and crew in Atlanta when I say thank you to the fans for joining in our passion for these characters and their journey.”

Now in its third season, The Walking Dead after-show, Talking Dead, also is seeing strong gains in viewership. The mid-season finale of Talking Dead delivered a record 6 million viewers, including 3.8 million adults 18-49. For the first eight episodes of this season, airing at 10PM., Talking Dead is averaging 4.5 million viewers and 3 million adults 18-49. Up +128% in viewers over the first half of season two (when it aired at 11PM), and up +120% among adults 18-49. Hosted by Chris Hardwick, Talking Dead features Hardwick and fans, actors, producers and other TV enthusiasts discussing and dissecting that night’s Dead premiere. The mid-season finale episode featured cast members Scott Wilson (Hershel Greene), Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) and Robert Kirkman, executive producer of the show and creator and writer of The Walking Dead comic book.

The mid-season finale of The Walking Dead also dominated TV-related social media Twitter activity, and was the #1 show of the night on Twitter across all cable and broadcast networks with 880,450 show-related Tweets from 391,210 unique authors, generating a total of 43.9 million impressions, according to Nielsen SocialGuide. Twitter activity peaked at 9:48PM EST with 31,861 Tweets-per-minute, representing 83 percent of all television-related Twitter activity at that time. The Walking Dead was also the #1 program for the day in TV-related social media Twitter activity, including the mid-season finale and seven previous episodes that ran during a catch-up marathon on AMC, with the most unique authors and total Tweets. The mid-season finale also generated a number of simultaneous trending topics including #TheWalkingDead, TWD, Hershel, RIP Hershel, Not Hershel and #PrisonShowdown.

Amc has been doing the happy dance over this show from the beginning.

I would just like to thank Amc for giving us the great show. Thank you :)

It just hit me...Is Hershel's head still alive? You know the Governor and his keepsakes.

The Gov went back and bashed his head in. I hate the Gov so much and I am so relieved that story arc is over.

I think you all are on to something with Tyreese and Judith. Those screenshots are pretty convincing.

My DH says that he believes that Kirkman wouldn't hesitate to kill Judith. He did in the comics. I'd like to think not (and I don't think she's dead). But let's not forget about Sophia. That was one of the most emotionally cruel things I have ever seen on TV. If I hadn't accidentally had a spoiler for that ep, I would have been a wreck watching it. And I still cried.

And he did say on The Talking Dead last night that the more beloved the character, the bigger their demise. I cringed when he said that with Scott sitting right on the end of the couch.. Lauren Cohan gave him a pretty harsh look for that.

I'm going to watch the ep again later (sans the terrible scene...).
