The Govenor dropped a zombie bomb on the prison! Who ever was driving that truck was clearly female. Must have been that Karen chick. Looks like we have Rick back. Can't wait for next weeks show!

The look on Daryl's face after he killed that walker trying to attack Rick:love: LOVED watching the Dixon brothers talking about their past. Something tells me Meryl will change for the better after he discovers how close Daryl is with the group. But I doubt he survive the rest of the season.

Axil. That was intense.

I didn't like the smirk on Merles face after he helped save Rick, he looked so "how do you like me now". I was just glad he didn't say anything stupid at that point.
And it may not be very nice of me but I loved when Daryl put his crossbow to Merles head!!! And then the showed the sign for the river and it said Yellowjacket! Too bad Merle didn't see that sign.

Wow, that was an epic episode last night. I watched it again after watching the Talking Dead.

Merle's face when he realized that Daryl. was actually. leaving. and heading back to the prison. And did everyone catch how Merle was giving Daryl crap in the woods about Daryl's navigation skills deteriorating? Yeah, that sign at the bridge? It WAS Yellowjacket Creek. Booya! In your face Merle! :lmao: I was sooooo glad Daryl had had enough of Merle and realized he needed to get back to the prison. I truly don't know if Merle will be able to turn around and fit in. He had a small epiphany in the woods but I just don't think it was enough to make a permanent impression. KWIM?

That suprise shot - Axel and Carol actually having a pleasant time together... opening up to each other... laughing... POW!!! :faint: Thank goodnes he got it in the head first so that he didn't turn into a walker while Carol was using his body as a shield! :duck: I will miss Axel. I was hoping they'd really develope his character further. Hmmmm, those prisoners didn't fare too well once Rick and his group showed up, did they? :scratchin

I was just glued to the tv this episode. Was it on Talking Dead (maybe last week?) when it was said that Andrew Lincoln's absolutely favorite episode ever is coming up. Episode 12 this season. 2 more weeks. How on earth does this show keep getting better and better!? Some seriously fine writers and actors. :worship: :worship:

I've always loved Daryl because he was the underdog, the awkward guy who didn't really fit in, while Rick had all the game and would always come in to save the day.

Essentially, in the past few episodes, their roles have been reversing. Now Daryl is stepping up and Rick is isolating himself.

I loved it too, when he corrected Merle, and said Glen was Korean, since he himself has made fun of Glen in the past, but now respects him.

What is the significance of the sign?

Was anyone wondering how the governors henchman made it all the way up that tower without no one seeing him? Also shouldn't someone always be with baby Judith? I understand the situation but what of they all died in that gunfight what would've happened to the baby?

Yes, I know that Michonne closed the gate after Rick went out but she didn't seem to lock it, or maybe he just sneaked in, broke the lock, and climbed up there.

And I suppose that the baby was sleeping but yes-- knowing the tombs in the prison aren't safe I wouldn't put it past the walkers to somehow come through another way.

I also didn't really get why Maggie was so upset with Glenn. Is it because he kept bringing up the issue, long after she told him what happened? Or because she really was raped and doesn't want to tell him?

I try not to get too hung up on the many lapses of logic that occur during this show, but more and more of them keep reminding me that it IS only a TV show. But it's probably good thing that it isn't more true to life because otherwise I would be too scared to sleep!

Something flitted through my mind during the scene where Maggie took Judith to feed her..... could Maggie be pregnant? The scene just seemed so... odd..... the way that she took and held the baby. Almost poignant. Like there was a secret shared between the sisters. I mean that can't be the first time that she held or fed Judith. KWIM? Could it be that she's pregnant but hasn't told Glenn yet and now is hesitant to tell him? Pure speculation on my part.

I definitely enjoyed last night's epi! I felt bad for Daryl knowing he was abused & was hurt by Merle who left home w/out him. I loved the straight talk he gave Merle too about Merle being a d*ck. Daryl's move smashing the walker head in the truck was a nice move. I knew Daryl would be back shortly & at the right time! I'm glad Merle helped Rick out too. That may win him a couple bonus points w/the group (maybe) if he continues to change his attitude.
I was getting annoyed w/Rick making out w/the air & wandering around, but at least he said he knows it's not really her. I don't think he's done w/that b/c he thinks it means something. Yeah, it means you need to sleep!
I was wondering what happened to Tyrese & co. I thought that maybe they would come out & help so then they would be accepted into the group. I also thought, like the pp- who's w/the baby??? I figured Axel was going down since they focused on him & he was sharing more this epi. Same thing happened in T-Dog's final epi.

Aggggggh Andrea!!

And I am already mourning the fact that it looks like Daryl isn't even going to be in the next episode. Boo hoo.

Oh no what made you think that???? :(

I wouldn't miss Andrea if she were to come to an untimely death.

So the big question, which group will Tyrese end up being loyal to? Is it tyrese? Or am I making that name up?

Because Rick is going on a run with Michonne and Carl. And all the preview scenes include just the 3 of them. There were no scenes from the prison. It made me think of the "18 Miles Out" episode, which took place entirely away from the farm.

Me too!

And it is Tyrese-- I get the feeling that eventually they will come to their senses and get back with Rick's group. Did you see the way The Governor was looking at Sasha? I bet he does something to her to show what a wack-job he is, and she and Tyrese leave.

Tyrse and Sasha will eventually go back to Rick's group once they find out what kind of leader the Governor is. But the other 2 men in Tyrse's group showed their true colors at the prison. I'm sure they will make themselves comfortable in Woodboro.

I was really wishing Maggie had a chance to talk to Andrea. I wanted to see Andrea's reaction to finding out what the Gov did to her.

But I ENJOYED last nights show. As usual, can't wait till next week!

I am also guessing that Tyrese will leave once he finds out what the Gov really is & my prediction is that he does something to Sasha, which maybe will wake up Andrea.
Why hasn't Andrea figure out yet that she is an idiot?!? I was also hoping Maggie would say something & Glen would back her so Andrea could realize she is sleeping w/ & siding w/an a**hole. I knew she wouldn't stab the Gov either. Now that she saw Rick was unstable, she probably was more attracted to him & will try to sleep w/him next since psychos are her type.

One question I had is this: Was Andrea in cahoots with Ricks group about killing the Gov? Rick gave her the knife and it showed Andrea contemplating killing him. Also, when Ricks group was standing around that night listening to Beth sing, Herschel said something like, "don't worry, she is very persuasive." or something like that. It wasn't clear to me what was going on. All I could come up with was that Andrea agreed to kill the Gov for them.

I thought Andrea would want to stay with Ricks group.

I loved Carol last night... Her advice to Andrea was such a "wow" moment about how far she's come from being her husband's punching bag. That was great! Too bad Andrea didn't follow through, but we all knew she wouldn't. She's too hooked on "sitting pretty at the end of the world".

I wanted to slap Glen and Maggie for not speaking up about the Governor, though. They know better than anyone other than Merle what he's capable of, and they should know Andrea well enough to know she wouldn't have gone back knowing what the Governor did to Maggie.

Tyrese won't stay in Woodbury long. He's too much of a "do the right thing" personality to go along with the Governor's "ends justify the means" public face, much less the reality of his methods.
