The Walking Dead on AMC

I feel like Carol definitely has to be alive. There was the scene with T-Dog saying the only reason he kept going with her because he felt like it was his destiny to save her no matter what it took. Personally I hope the writers didn't just have him say this and then have him die in for nothing (though he would have anyway.)

The one thing I'm certain of is that if they kill Daryl I don't think I'd be able to watch anymore :lmao:

That's a good point and makes me feel better about Carol being alive somewhere. T-Dog got little enough as a character, hopefully his death is more glorious! And Daryl and Carol have to at least confess or act on their feelings!

Hah- their couple name (should they ever be one) would wither be Darol or Caryl, which is their names pronounced the same either way!

Can't wait to find out about Carol, for Daryls sake I hope she is alive.

When I see the governor, all I can think of is that bear Lotso from toy story 3, "Welcome to Sunnydale!"

Me too!!:rotfl2:

I was rather grossed out this week. It took a turn for the gruesome which shouldn't be a surprise in a zombie show but for some reason it just seemed a bit of overkill for me this week.

I was watching some of season 2 last night, and after they spent so much time, effort, and hope looking for Sophia only to find her walker-fied they very quickly wrote the missing Andrea off. Maybe it was the unidentifiable pile of remains plus this new "we don't bother with missing people" policy that has led to Carol's assumed dead status?

I think one reason they spent so much time looking for Sophia was her being a child she was pretty much helpless in defending herself against the walkers. I think they were all hoping she was able to find a place to hide where they could not get to her. Plus the amount of walkers weren't as prevalent as they were at the farm and in the prison, which could explain why they didn't search for Andrea or Carol.

:rotfl: Love it!

I agree. They definitely went for the gruesome action this week.

I think with Andrea it was more of a case of the farm being so overrun that it was too risky to go back for her, and they didn't think it was likely she had survived the attack. With Sophia, they just had more chances to search for her.

Well they said they saw her "go down" so they all assume Andrea died. That's why they never looked for her.

(it's a fancy name for a) collection of comic books.
i usually try to buy the hard cover graphic novels.
but if i like the characters, i'll go with the paper covers.

BTW there is a HUGE compendium available for $33.99 at Amazon. It's a fantastic deal and it takes you up through the prison arc. I just noticed the second compendium is out too. :thumbsup2

Thank you! I just added vol. 1 and 2 to my list. :)

This is why Amazon one-click is dangerous! Just bought it!

I could be very wrong but in the preview for next week when talking about Carol I didn't think they said her knife, I thought they said her Knot but again could be wrong. I love they are keeping so many of the things from the comic like Penny (though I wonder how much farther that will go) also far as someone earlier talking about why she didnt bite the governor its because she doesnt have teeth like all the other walkers they keep. I was having a talk with family about Rick and the phone and they kept saying there was no way it would have something as strange as this happen but it is one of those key character points knew they had to keep. The bones are bothering me too but its something I can get past easy enough but what bothers me is the bullet from Carl, since it hints that he couldn't do it Lori could have been alive when being devoured.

Can't wait for a new episode to hurry and come on. Also can't wait for Wizard World New Orleans Con, get to meet Shane, Merle and Daryl.

Daryl was swoon worthy with that baby!
.

how true! who would habve thougth Darryl would turn out to be such a fox? (70's term for sexy guy)

me too! but the gladiator fights make me think of the ways they "used" the zombies in the cult classic : Shaun of the Dead.

I also think they may have just assumed that Carol's body parts were included in the mess along with T-Dog.

As for walkers eating people, I don't think they eat the bones, usually. I was surprised if a walker (or walkers) came across Lori's body and started to chow down, then why wasn't there more of a mess? For some reason that one walker that Rick finds is off to the side and incapacitated. I did see the hair and perhaps something was lodged in its throat. But even if that walker and some of his buddies ate Lori. I would think there would be more bones lying around that what appeared to be just a skull. I also don't see why they would have moved her body.

On another webpage's comment section, someone hypothesized that maybe one of the prisoners took Carol.

I'm going to guess that the squirrelly white prison inmate has her locked up in a cell somewhere. Something about him just seems off and it would explain why she's not rushing out to meet the rest of the group. :)

I hadn't even thought about that! I think you're onto something there.

OH MY.....now I need to re-watch the last episode (a 3rd time) to see when we lost track of that guy...

I refuse to read the spoiler since I've already read the comics. I don't want to know anymore of what 'could' happen before it does. MAN I wish it was Sunday!!! :rotfl2:

Axel???? I was actually starting to feel a little sympathetic to these prisoners. If he did something to Carol.......:furious::furious::furious::furious:
